Unfortunately sometimes we have perfume blind buy fails. I'm hoping that when the season changes or after these sit for a while then I'll enjoy having them in my luxury fragrance collection and they'll become some of my favorite perfumes. I plan to do a fragrance haul once a month so we'll see if these fragrance get replaced.

I don't like the idea of having to let a fragrance sit for a while to like it. If I'm paying $200+ it better be good from day 1!
I’m fine with it. A lot of fragrances get better with time especially Vanillas. That’s why I buy off season. So now is the time I’m buying my spring/summer fragrances.

This was such a fun video! There is nothing wrong with honesty - and fragrance is so subjective! There were some I agreed with you on 100% like Lipstick On and Pas ce soir but, there were a few loves in here for me too! I adore Rose All Dae - but, I am odd and appreciate some very out there fragrances. Rose All Dae is an ENTIRE, fancy dessert complete with either the metal pan it was baked in or maybe the silverware you are eating it with...and certainly not for everyone! I have my moments with Pas ce soir. I was legit “craving” the scent the other day. Like this can’t be the same bottle I shoved to the side! 😅 It’s a current love for me.

I'm with you on Pas Ces Soir. I got a decant and it was a scrubber for me, there's something off-putting about it to me, and of course it was strong too.
I’m glad it’s not a scrubber for me but hopefully that licorice smell dies now when I give it a full wear.

I smelled On a Date yesterday at Sephora and it reminded me of my grandmothers signature fragrance, Aromatics Elixir by Clinique. I wore it on my wrist for just a few hours and it really hit me like a modern take on that significant scent in my life. Not sure if I like it or hate it.

I haven't tried many of the ones you mentioned but the ones you mentioned that I have tried I agree with you. I am sometimey with Pas Ce Soir. I hardly reach for it. Sometimes it smells amazing and other times it's blah. I think I have to be mindful of where and when I try to wear Pas Ce Soir because it can change my mood. But as for BDK's Bouquet de Hongrie. I wore her today and I wasn't thrilled, I think I'm gonna declutter her. Your description of Lipstick On is dead on. I have a decant of Erba Pura and thank God I didn't buy a bottle cause she is real loud. Not my style.

I agree with you about on a date perfume. I just recently fell in love with the Jazz Club by replica and was excited when On a date was released, thinking that it was gonna be another banger. I almost did a blind buy, glad I went to Sephora to smell it first, I saved my coin lol…as for the kayali scent I almost bought it too but the reviews had me on pause. I did buy that new black opium, I’m not crazy about it, I only wear it to bed lol 😅

I have Music Festival and it has an apple note that lends a sweetness to the patchouli in it.
I’ve never smelled that one but most ppl say it smells like sweaty teenagers at a concert smoking 😂 so I was scared to blind buy it since it’s discontinued
Finally tried Rose All Dae...was afraid to try because of the steel note lol. Fortunately I don't get too much of the metallic and I loved the way it wore on my skin. Ordered a FB lol.

It’s so many houses popping up right now and I’m new to this, always purchased my fragrances from Macy
The only ones I have or have tried the ones from Orientica luxury line. I heard Oakcha, and Dua are good but I’ve never tried them. I had one dossier dupe of flower bomb they sent to me. It was a good dupe.

I think Gentle Fluidity Gold is a similar type of scent and I like it better.
Killian Love Don't Be Shy is not it. It's way too sweet and smells like marshmallow and Valentines conversation heart candies.

Have you tried Fire at Will from Jovoy? It's a vanilla with brown sugar ,really sweet , I only have a sample so far but used it with Laura Mercier Creme Brulee body cream ..... still delicous and sweet after 10 hrs
It’s on my list and Remember Me from Jovoy so I’ll be getting both this year. The Creme Brûlée cream is always sold out 🤦🏻♀️ but it’s ok I have other butters to go with it 👍🏼

Never got peppermint from vanilla royale ever, got vanilla, rum and musk and didn't like the musk but still loved that, vanilla 28 and pistachio. My favourite kayali is white flower and going to try pink pepper, rock candy and silk santal
That patchouli in Vanilla Royale smelled like peppermint to me when I first got it. I like it now for cold weather. I have all of those except rock candy. Pink pepper is my favorite. And I hated it at first. I returned it when I bought it. Went back to visit it months later and loved it.

My husband bought me the Orientica Royal Amber for Christmas and I was so excited, but then I was disappointed by the scent. I expected to be blown away, but it's just okay. Doesn't really stand out to me. I love the packaging though.

Vanilla Royale went from a like to a total love for me. It definitely needed to macerate a bit. It's so sexy with the leather and gourmand notes!

Yess there’s a note in Pas car Soir I can’t stand. Smells like bad breath. I thought my decant went bad but then I ordered a travel spray from BDK and it smelled the same way. I wish I was getting what everyone was raving about but nope.
I get what everyone else is getting. It’s a beautiful fruity fragrance to me other than that slight licorice smell. I don’t get bad breath but I’m not sure where licorice is coming from.
Oh nooo..Pas ce soir 😲 now sugared patchouli definitely a hate for me. But, hear me out. This site called lavanilla has a scent called, pure vanilla and it's gorgeous. This is what I wanted kayali to smell like. This is for the girls who has a hard time with patchouli.
I normally love patchouli as long as it’s a clean or chocolate patchouli. Not sure why that one smelled like peppermint. I’m hoping Pas Ce Soir grows on me because I love everything about it except whatever that is that smells like licorice to my nose 🤦🏻♀️

I use Idole intense. It smells better than idole. Sometimes I combine the two and seal with baccarat rouge. I smell like heaven
I just opened the Kayali Vanilla Sugar shit and it is GOING BACK! This has happened with more than half of the Kayali scents… Vanilla 28, Musk and Deja Vu are my favorites. The newer scents just don’t do it for me.

I'm not crazy about Pas Ce Soir either but the 2 times I've worn it, I received loads of compliments so was thinking it was my nose. It just smells like 2 days old fruit salad.

@@DanielleNicoleMakeup exactly! I tend to pick up metallic smells anyways on alot of fruity fragrances that don’t list a note of metal. Especially Tiziana Terenzi fragrances and Montale-Mancera. 🥺

I CANNOT stand Replica perfumes...the fireside one...uhhh...no..everyone I have tried just did not like them..i don't see what everyone likes about them.

Do you not like returning things you don’t like? I have no shame, if I don’t like something it’s going right back to the store 😄 great video btw. I think every single Kay Ali fragrance is overrated, including that cherry one everybody loves so much.
I don’t have problem with returning something but it depends on where I bought it from and how much I don’t like it. Or if it worth trying to mail it back to a company. The one I hated in this video I sold. The others are just ok but I don’t hate them.

In my noses universe lol Whatever note it is it smells like peppermint. What note is in this fragrance that you think would smell like peppermint to me?

@@Lestat13 that is the note that I feel is giving me the mint smell. Fragrances smell different to everyone so I smell mint and you don’t, that’s fine 🤷🏻♀️
