Amen about every day being special! Hubby and I never (like once a year) go on dates. I have never been to a black tie event. We don’t go on vacation (a couple times over the last 20 years), and attending weddings is like every 5 years. Haha! I wear whatever I want while staying home in my pjs teaching my kiddos. I will whole heartedly wear a fragrance that everyone says is “special event” or “boss lady” while being at home in pajamas. Haha!

So many great tips. One more for this group is spray your clean laundry as you put it away each day. I spray my daughters' clothes and school uniform with Philosophy Amazing Grace. I spray my husband's clothes with Molecule 1. The drawers and wardrobes smell so nice.

Nothing feels so satisfying than to use up a fragrance. Even though I loved the fragrance, by the time it is finished, I'm ready for something else.
To add to your tips: when I fill up my bathtub to take a bath, I pour in a neutral Smellinghe bathfoam. Then I add a handful of sprays of perfume. Voila, a delicious smelling bath, plus you get more use out of the perfume.
I’m the same way. By the time the bottle is gone I’ve had my fix and I’m ready to move on. If I want to repurchase later I will. Oh that’s a great tip about the bath. I’ll definitely be trying that. Thanks 😉

Love this friendly reminder girl! We really be doing the MOST!! Some fragrances do make really good room sprays. People always ask me what that smell is when I spray club de nuit in my office. Except that one guy that ran out of my office cuz his allergies were triggered😂😅

I love the video and the top tips. I have a small collection (25) and have told myself before I buy a new fragrance I just finish one. This helps me use up what I have and not go overboard with buying new fragrance.

She said she’s “waiting for a tray to come in” so she can “make it look pretty like mine! You know she lying bc them bottles already pretty so I took back a bottle I regretted giving her anyways. 😆

I was always so surprised when you said you've been testing a fragrance for a few days and then I see you've already finished a quarter of the bottle 😂 I definitely agree that there's no point saving things for a special occasion. If you love it then use it whenever you can. As for the discontinued stuff, use it while you have it and don't worry, new fragrances come out all the time - there will always be something else to fall in love with!

Honestly, I’ve been trying to empty my collection, especially my travel sized fragrances. I’ve emptied out at least two or three travel sized fragrances. The 1.0 or bigger bottles will be my biggest challenges. I try to wear a new perfume to work or elsewhere once a week to utilize them. So I’m slowly but surely getting there. I combined Bubble Bath by Replica and Yum Pistachio Gelato by Kay Ali together and it’s a bomb combo!! You were definitely talking to me in terms of buying backup fragrances and buying new ones when I haven’t finished my stash. Yes, I’m guilty. Merry Christmas and have a blessed New Year!

Layering does really help to use up fragrances. Shopping my stash is where it's at. I found my Tribeca in the back of the drawer and babyyyyyy!!! I fell in love all over again.

This is some really good straight talk. I used to spray two maybe three sprays, wrists, neck…I never empty a bottle! Now I’m using more and sometimes I layer which I never used to do, but let me tell you, if you have a scent that, for example, devotion, you thought would be brighter citrus than it is, layer that with lemon tart and / or under the lemon tree! I started spraying my sheets with a rose scent because how often do I wear rose? Rare. Merry Christmas ❤

I used like 42 but like 3.4 oz, samples travel sizes but the majority were almost empty and i intentionally pulled them out of the collection at the beginning of the year to be intentional in using them up. The majority that i used up were 1.7 oz

This video spoke to me on such a deep level. “Stop babysitting these fragrances” is gold. Having a 73 scent collection, I try to wear 1-2 during the day and then a 3rd when I go to bed. I also used to be so conservative when I sprayed, now I go crazy with it. 😂

I am definitely not spraying enough. When I overspray I always get compliments and it seems like it last longer. It’s like saving up your favorite stuff but it’s all rusty etc because you waited too long. You are so right because we can’t take it with us.

I spray to the GODS!!! Plus, whatever I spray on my body for the day, I spray on my clothes and my bedding. Later, before bed, I shower and put on a different bedtime fragrance (depending on the mood) and spray that fragrance on my bedding as well.

I have a small collection around 20-25 fragrances and a lot of samples, decants and oils. I love layering. My problem is when I started fragrances I bought trendy fragrances that I don’t really care for now. I’ll try to layer them every once in a while when I see a combo that sounds intriguing but for the most part they’re just sitting there unless my daughter decides she likes them then she’ll use them up. Now the fragrances I love, I empty and have to repurchase every year because more than likely I’m putting that shit on everything and I’m an over-sprayer too.
Yea that sucks when you have fragrances you don’t really like. I have few like that too and I’ve been trying to layer with them to use them up.
I think so many people have fragrances that are just OKAY! If you practice only purchasing things that you absolutely LOVE, instead of buying things that you like/that are just alright 🤷🏽♀️ then emptying your collection is easy!!
Folks have collections full of beautiful bottles with juice that they hate!! 🤣🤪

Yesss you are my twin. Scents are like aromatherapy to me, I feel happy when I use them.
Not even that I want to empty them, I just want to use my collection of 30ish fragrances. I don't think I have a 5 year old one. They get used, even after shower, in my pyjamas.🤷🏼♀️

Lately I’ve been using my intense with my original and adding another fragrance in for an added boost - along with my fragrance free oil and B&BW body cream and spray. I’ve also been doing weekly trays - that way makes more sense to me & I’ve been picking up & using my bottles. Yes, I’ve been using my bottles 😉

Yes girl even when I make up my bed I spray my sheets with stuff I want to use up. When I get in the bed at night it smells amazing 🤩
Definitely gotta use it all up! I sometimes get anxiety when I have a fragrance for over 3 years and haven’t used it up because fragrance has an expiration date! 😂

Denise I thought I was the only one that used my older fragrances for bed linen’s and room sprays! I do it all the time and definitely over spray. I just started doing a weekly tray thanks to you 😅 Great Great Video always a great time watching your videos.

Wow, Denise. This was an overdose of facts! I like to sort my fragrances by season (Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer, Everyday, & Bedtime) and store similar profiles together (ex. I clump Roses Vanille, Intense Cafe, & Delox together). I usually wear two or three fragrances at a time anyway. Dent City, USA over here. Great video!

One in one out is the rule for me. Also, I've kinda created a mini frag head in my neice, so "auntie, can i have this?" 😂 is a very effective method for perfume (& makeup) declutters. Sometimes, it's the whole bottle sometimes I decant.
