any thoughts as to why my toolbar wouldn't change or update when everything else did? I actually tried to switch to some other themes and now it's not changing from the default anymore. Would love any thoughts you may have! Thanks!

I've followed to the letter the steps and on the theme adjuster the letters are too big. I'm on a Mac mini M1. Do you know how to solve that? Thanks

I realize this is off topic, but I've had Breaktweaker for two months and still haven't figured out how to record into Reaper. I setup the proper multichannel routing, but when I hit record, the Breaktweaker preset stops playing and I record 6 tracks of nothing. It's the most maddening thing I've ever experienced and customer service help is not available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm beyond desperate.

Poor scale solution, when changing HiDPI settings this way it makes programs blurry on 4k monitors. This has always been the case even before Win10. Reaper needs to solve this issue similar to the way that Studio One or Bitwig have. I don't like using Bitwig but it has the best VST scaling of them all, Studio One being second (imho) due to being natively HiDPI. Regards.
Can I simply change de waveform color from black to white in v6? I can only do it in v1.0 but it won't let me in v6.
Yea this is all done in the theme tweak adjuster. You'll have to play around in there a bit and look for the right one, I can't remember the name off the top of my head but I'll look for it when I get back in town.

Why? Why, starting from the 6th version, the buttons: "Mut", "Solo", "Trim"... to the right of the fader? Previously, it was possible to choose the location of these buttons - top or bottom or right of fader...
A very good DAW and very good default theme, but this improvement is very bad! Thanks for the video!
You can still edit placement in the reaper files, it just takes a little practice and you can fully edit exactly how the buttons are laid out

One question how to make this buggy DAW scan and work with Waves 12-13 plugins? Don't mention others wich it can't work and scan with.
I've never heard of any issues with Waves plugins.
Buggy? I've been working with Reaper for about 18 months and it has crashed precisely twice. And both times I'm sure it was my fault.
@@RolandDeschain1 I'm glad for you, but i presume you don't have many plug-ins. Because it's crushes on them all the time. Or maybe you work for them. And maybe you just lying. If you payed for that. That's good. Otherwise idk.
Use pirate plugins then blame the DAW...
@@eprpop Other DAWs work absolutely fine Ableton scans all plugins for 10 seconds. But Reaper on mac it's a disaster. On Windows 11 it's works fine, but not on the mac.

@@reapertutorials1947 maybe I'm missing something but it just looks like the regular reaper 5 theme. I downloaded the file, installed all the fonts, then I went into the script-cockos folder and copied the adjusters and then went into the color themes folder and moved the theme files that look like little t-shirts. I restarted reaper and I chose thedark windows theme and nothing changed except the fonts

PLEASE PLEASE Go to Preferences and SAVE your CONFIGURATION SOMEWHERE! BEFORE you do ANYTHING! That way , if you screw - up , you can go back to where you were before! :D

@@reapertutorials1947 you may like 3rd (FM3) version that released few weeks ago and was completely re-designed. also try to use with TCP fx/send list turned on. FM3 is fully compatible with 4k/retina screens (yes, i am promoter)

Yea, I'm making music and guitars... but I still use soley Reaper and I wanna make more vids but i got kids and bronchitis and ain't nobody got time for that!!!
Reaper is such a powerful, Stable, & Flexible DAW. The design of the interface is pretty cool & you can customize Reaper's interface whatever you want, So for the people working on Reaper, Here's my wishes for Reaper to improve for Version's 7.0 or 7.5:
1. Updated GUI & Customization
2. Better DAW control
3. Intergration with every MIDI keyboards
4. Including some VST instruments
5. Improved VST effect window's
6. Updated video player window
7. Include video import, Extracting audio from video, & Video rendering
8. Better Mixing, Editing, Recording & Mastering
9. Reaper DAW logo updated
10. More lesser crasing & more stability
11. Lesser CPU usage
12. Lesser GB, RAM & MB
That's the most vague and useless software wishlist I've ever seen. Literally. If you have any specific requirements or suggesions to contribute get involved in the REAPER community, put your time and work in, file a feature request and wait in line like everyone else.
@@michaelgraflmusic No disrespect but the Reaper wish list for Version 7.0 of Reaper is only a perdition list. Reaper is good as it is.. You can customize the Theme layout, It's flexible and stable & various other thing's in Reaper. Again, No disrespect to you my friend & the list was only a perdition list.
