Recently ordered my own one of these, I was going to go for the big boy R but I don't do enough mileage to justify the 2 litre lump so went with this instead as it at least looks the part....apart from the fake exhaust tips which will likely be something I end up changing xD

The car is nice looking. But it's not right to make a look-alike "R". Golf R looks should be exclusive to the R. The R looks like every other Golf to begin with. At least the GTI gets the red highlights. The Golf R is very subtle as is, now its being impersonated by the R-line. Not a fan.

I totally agree. I was under the impression that they only manufactured the original Golf R until I discovered this cheaper copy model
