In the first 60 seconds you explained cut shapes better than I've heard before. Thanks.

No problem. It's a powerful tool that has a lot of use cases that usually start out with "how do I erase in Lightburn?"

I've got a lot of experience with lightburn, yet I did not know about the Cut shape tool. That Alt+J to join shapes is another handy trick! Thanks, this will be very handy in the future!
H and V are hotkeys to mirror images H=Horizontally, V=Vertically for those who don't know (I like how you're not using hotkeys for the Tutorial though and mention when you do, sometimes that confuses folks not realizing you're using hotkeys)

Thanks. I try to call out when I use hotkeys since you don't see what I'm typing. I also try to mix up hot keys and and menu buttons just so people get a taste of both...or sometimes I just don't remember the hotkey LOL

I've been using Lightburn for almost 4 years and never used this tool.....looks like I will now. Also, I use RIGHT-MOUSE to bring up the tools and then ungroup.

That's what I love about LB. Many different ways to accomplish a task like group/ungroup based on how everyone is more comfortable. Their UI is so nice to work in.

Muchas gracias, yo tampoco tenia idea de la forma de corte, tengo una pregunta, veo en el video al principio de la imagen se ve con un recuadro blanco de fondo, como se hace para borrar este fondo blanco

Would it have been less cleanup if you had edited the outlines that you used to cut with to only cut the portion you wanted? In other words, delete the bottom of the fish outline and delete the top of the shape outline and close those shapes before cutting.

Probably and I think on one iteration of me playing around with this I actually did that. I broke apart the tail and the head and did them it 2 separate cuts. Honestly have no excuse for why I did it this way for the video other than point in time workflow and wanting to teach my son some troubleshooting and node editing to fix issues he might see.

Hey there, thank you for the tutorial. However, you did not finish a lot of your sentences and spoke as if we are all professional designers. Pushed buttons so fast that I could not follow. You marvellously show your knowledge of LightBurn. Please make your tutorials a lot slower for beginners like me. Of what I could follow, I've learn a lot. Otherwise keep them coming.
