I have had this bike for 1 year now. It's amazing. It's "the" model to get, as it's quite a bit cheaper than the C70. (And it's usually on sale, which is how I got it). While it descends great, it's the climbing that will blow you away. The shop I bought it at was very cool, they allowed me to 'swap for cost' on a few key components. I bought a pair of spinergy alloy wheels (that were on sale for $200 off), I bought race face carbon cranks (which were being blow out as end of model cycle, save $150), I swapped out the tires for Specialized Ground Control 2bliss. All said, I ended up paying 'full retail', but with much better components. The deal was so good, I got one for my wife as well. Her medium weighs just over 25lbs. My extra-large weighs just over 27lbs. (That includes cages, pedals, and computer). Amazing bike, get one if you can...
@bikebudha01 that’s awesome! Yeah, it is indeed an amazing bike, this can also be a light duty trail bike, it can go up quickly and go down with finesse. With all the upgrades you did, it looks like you have a great bike combo for any trail. Nice work!
Love my rm c50 xl. Upgraded to 4 pot slx brakes and put the 2 pot on my gravel bike. Also upgraded to i9 1/1 wheels i30.5 with a disector up front. 35mm stem and a carbon bar moved over from my last bike. Stoked. So fast, yet so good downhill.
@davekal nice! That’s pretty much what I did in my element as well… only the saddle left stock. 😂. The bike is so good that takes the XC category to the next level.
These are my local trails! I have the A50 and find it's great for Edmonton. Do you always leave it in the slackest ride 4 setting? That's where i currently have mine and I'm thinking it feels the best. Maybe I'll see you out there one day.
@michaelc6236 thanks man! I put back now to neutral position ride four, the slackest great for bombing down. This bike is so good that it can handle some light duty trail ride and quick on climbs. For sure, we probably seen each other in the trails.

Wow that looks like a technical trail.

I just got a C50 medium in green color. This bike is absolutely great!!!!
That’s awesome! This bike is even capable of being a light duty trail bike. Changing the tires to a little more aggressive then you’re set.
Sick bike!
Yeah man, it’s pretty rad! Thanks
