An EPIC NATIONAL SPORTING EVENT, which yielded a result so powerful, that it Inspired, Lifted & United a country through a very dark time in our Nation’s History. We are in dire need of a similar event in today’s weary world. 🍻🇺🇸❤️🔥🇺🇸🍻
for one night the states of Minnesota, Michigan and Massachusetts outlasted the finest hockey program in existence. Couldnt have done it again if we had to. So what? We dont have to!! :P
Russia was the best team in the world by far, except on that particular day. They underestimated the American 'students' and didn't respect them. They were overconfident and it cost them the gold. The Russians had gotten so used to winning all the time, they forgot what such an emotional victory felt like. It's painted on their faces as they watch with admiration as their opponents celebrated. Much respect to both teams.
The greatest sporting event in the annals of recorded human history. This would be like a Div 3 NCAA team beating an NFL team....unreal! This will never happen again.
la ley de la identidad.- bueno tubieron una buena identifivacion en el trabajo en equipo, y su identidad que solo estaban enfocado que pertenecian a los estados unidos y eso le daba ahun mas fuerza realemente eran muy patriotas
LOL but most of their metals in hockey are silver since the US proved they could not live in fear of the Federation of Russia and talent not skill is needed to win.
YA the soviets sending their red army teams to face a bunch of amateurs sure makes em the best huh? Interesting little tidbit of statistical history. The Soviet red army best on best vs Canada had a compiled record of 6-12-2 up the end of the soviet empire. Soviets were never the best, they were second best.
Herb Brooks the coach Kurt Russell he played him down to the Minnesota accent and the game was recreated so close to the way it happened.
