    Is in it dangerous with the hot glue. If eventually happened again, and if someone tries to open it again it will lift the port with the trucks. Great video as usual. :)

    Great video although I would not use hot glue. Place an insulative material between the flex and home button.

    I'm looking at a dead s6 now, trying to get the data off it - I can't see where you're putting juice into the battery as there are no obvious terminals where you're touching, that I can see on the one I have

    What's the name of the liquid you use to clean the port with?

    Hi, how what could be a possible reason for a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus with the same problem (not turning on) to have the wifi module heating up with the charger plugged in?

    you need to put something under the flex cable rather than damage the home button

      He said why. Because you have to lift the screen from plastic thing and that way you are risking of braking the screen

    Maybe they need to reconsider putting the button on top of the charge port

      That was my thought after he took the part from the donour phone, I mean this is a part that faces physical stress several times, every day. I can´t believe it, also breaking the home button of the donour phone...
      Those parts are still available to buy for some € , it would be reasonable to use part from an old phone like ics, chips, speaker,... but not a micro usb connector ;/

      Maybe the customer was desperate for the phone

      @jadedsoul1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      super glue..dont be foolish. how is the next guy gona get the parts of. such a thin liquid may run onto any array of pins. Hot glue though not perfect is easily removed.

    You see paying 60 to get a used charging port when its very cheap like 5 bucks for a new one. This is why tech gets a bad name .

      you think samsung are selling charging ports? they are selling nothing, no spares. So, you can use a chinese copy or a original second hand. I know the quality of the chinese stuf so i prefer original second hand, no offence

    • @retrotech2020
      @retrotech2020 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You're paying for his skill to solder it. Better 60 than 180 for a new screen.
