Love this tutorial. Quick and so beautiful. I personally like that your videos are short. Keep up the awesome work. Btw, I saw you for 2nd time at VLV Rockabilly a few weeks ago and bought your book. You're even more beautiful in person and work hard. See you at the next next Viva!!
I am looking forward to my hair getting longer again so I can start these hair styles once more. Thank you for another fantastic (and easy to follow!) video
Lovely!! I'm getting my hair cut and I want to tell the hairdresser how to cut it for vintage updos like you do. What's a good type of cut and bang length?
Does this still work if you do a wet set, but finish it off the same way? I've got insanely thick hair and I find that wet sets not only hold curls better, they save on get ready time in the morning. But I'm the type of person who is always touching my hair, and I tend to prefer these silky polished vintage inspired styles vs the more poodle-esque styles.
I totally understand. And did you know women back then used invisible hair nets to help keep the shape of their styled hair. I started doing this since I have thin wavy hair that gets frizzy, and the curls fall flat. Once I curl my hair and brush it. I do a little barrel curl or a side roll in the front of my hair. A little bit of pomade to tame the frizz. I roll it pin it and hair spray it. And to help keep the hair net from sliding I use tear drop shaped clips one on each side of my head and two on the back underneath to help stop the little baby hairs from coming out. Here is the invisible hair net I use. They are the Jac.o.net Hair Net Bouffant Size. They come in regular hair colors, brown, medium brown, black, and blonde. My Sally's sells these and they are 99 cents each, at my local Sally's Plus I hand wash them with shampoo and put them out to air dry, once or twice a week.
I’ve just found you from Pinterest and you make the tutorials so easy to watch and make me feel like I can achieve this look as I have struggled ♥️
I actually love that your videos are short and to the point. Also love this look, super elegant and feminine

BionicBear You should get the same pattern, just with a curling iron it makes the process faster.
@@hannahgracehopkins1701 : My whole question was if you could achieve the same style without a curling iron? 🤷
Hi Cherri! I have a cheap curling iron does that really make a difference??....thanks

My hair is pin straight but wont hold a curl longer than an hour (on a good day). I wish my hair listened!!
