    I was diagnosed with COVID-19 last April 2021. I did this when I was having difficulty breathing. Super helpful and I believe this helped a lot with my breathing problem.

    Hello again, Doc. I tried yong dadapa for 3 minutes. After that, I check my oxygen sat and naging 99% from 97-98. 😁 Thank you for this, Doc. Ill definitely do this regularly. You are God's intrument po for people who really need this. Salamat Doc.

    Thank you for sharing this video. I spent 11 days at a hospital bec of covid. I had moderate pneumonia and i have breathing difficulty till now... Will surely try these exercises. 👍

    This is very helpful. Just a quick question doc, do you advise to drink one 500 mg of vitamin c when i have covid?

      thanks dear! yes you can take Vit C 500-1000mg per day and Vit D 400-800 IU per day. Both can help boost your immune system.

    Thank you po. I am currently admitted because of severe COVID-19. Yesterday I was able to enjoy the day without oxygen, but this morning I had a hard time breathing. I am wearing my oxygen support right now, while trying to do the breathing exercise. Thank you for this.

      Hi Raiza! It could be kc nacocompress ang chest wall mo. If you dont feel comfortable you can adjust the time until mgOK ang pakiramdam mo. No need to worry as long as normal nmn ang Oxygen saturation mo. Kung mgtuloy tuloy ang chest heaviness even without exertion pacheck up k n just to be sure. Feel better soon.😊

    Hi doc, thanks for sharing... I had covid 5 months ago, and until now i experiencing difficulty in breathing, ung pakiramdam po na kapag nag inhale parang di pumapasok ung hangin sa loob ng katawan, kaya kailangan kong bumwelo para po huminga ng malalim at makapasok ang hangin. I went to a doctor a month ago and he said, post covid daw po itong nararamdaman ko.

      Hi po! We dont recommend any form of exercise kung ang pasyente ay hirap pa huminga or hingal pa while at rest. Kung nakaoxygen pa cya ibig sabihin hindi pa kya ng baga kya its better to wait until you are weaned from your O2 support. Yoga is a safe alternative po.

      Tine Tine Casono pde po kyo gumamit humidifier s room esp when sleeping at maglagay ng warm towel/cloth over your nose and forehead. always keep yourself hydrated.

    Hello gandang umaga doctora, magtatanong lang po .ilang araw po ako may covid pang 12 days napo.ask ko lang po kung di pa ba talaga mawawala yung difficulty breathing sa ganitong araw.and ask ko lang po if parang mabigat Ang Baga or parang may tubig possible pneumonia ma po iti. Di Po kasi ako makatulog gawa ng difficulty sa breathing.salamat doktora sa pagsagot

      if you feel comfortable doing it then its fine. but for mild to moderate covid patients proning 2-3 hrs 3x a days is fine

      Fluids or phlegm? For phlegm you can use this breathing exercise. For fluids, Drs need to quantify how much fluid and the location of the fluids. If its just mininal, you need the help of a chest physical therapist for that or do this breathing exercise on your own. For moderate to severe fluids you might need to have it removed by a doctor in a hospital setting.

May problem Lang ako kasi may hingal pa eh pansin kolang is palaging nag flaflare yung nostrils ko when breathing. Pwede po mag tanong ulit heheheh nagka Covid pneumonia talaga ako. In moderate cases po ma’am magkaka develop po ba ng pneumonia yan?

      yes its the pressure to the chest wall. as long as its tolerable then its fine. rest if you dont fell comfortable. pde mo dn bawasan ang timing then gradually increase as you regain your strength. normal dn na mdjo uubuhin ka o kya mahihilo o light headed ng kaunti.

      mang blood flow po kc ngfofocus sa lungs tuwing ngdedeep breath and less the ibang organs like the stomach and GI tract. minsan nahihilo pa. do it slowly. wag po muna habaan. you can do half of the cycle para hindi mabigla then gradually increase kung tolerated na and drink water in between.

      @@kntjhn11002 you can decrease the count instead of 6 for the deep breathing you can start at 3 and the prone position you can do it for 3 mins then gradualy increase if you are able to tolerate it

      yes its nornal because of the pressure on the chest wall. as long as hindi hirap huminga habang ginagawa ito then its fine. you can adjust the timing kung ano convenient for you ang mahalaga ay ung consistency mo. just increase the timing over time.😊

    Good evening doc ask ko lang po ngpa laboratory ako doc nakita sa xray my belateral pneumonia my hiblood nahihirapan ako huminga chestpain back pain doc. Tag take din ako ng med for hiblood lasartan sa umaga gabe po adolphine 1week nako naga take ng sabutamol sa pneumonia ko doc pero nakaramdam pa din ako ng hirap sa pag hinga doc need ko na ba stop yong gamot sa pneumonia ko doc.       Hi po! Ngpositive po b kyo sa Covid? wag nyo po stop khit alin jan sa gamot nyo hanggat hindi sinasabi ng doktor nyo. Tuloy lng ang maintenance medications nyo s highblood at sa infection. Kung hindi kyo ngiimprove o mas lumalala ang pakiramdam, mas maige pakonsulta ulet kyo para matignan ng doktor.

      Hi kung sa healthy people, meaning no respiratory symptoms follow the usual inhale sa nose exhale s mouth. Pero s may mga sakit it doesnt matter as long as you inhale expand your lungs and strengthen your respi muscles. Bsta after each count mgcough out ka ng malakas sa bibig. Kye pde ito gawin khit mga barado ang ilong or masakit at dry ang lalamunan

      Possible po pero mas nakakaramdam ng hingal or pagkahapo kung nakukulang sa oxygen. Ang pagubo tuwing mgdeep breath ay reflex kung may mga mucus sa loob na nagalaw o nadislodge.

      Hi Divine! Normal lng na uubuhin at mahihilo ng kaunti lalo na kung kakarecover mo pa lng from Covid. You just need to take it slow. Mgrest lng kung makakaramdam ng pagkaduwal. Bawasan ng pwersa ng paghinga at tagal then gradually increase as the day goes by.

      Hi Carl! If you are doing regular exercise its best to inhale sa nose and exhale sa bibig to release carbon dioxide faster. But in covid exercise both will do. Our goal is simply to take in more oxygen and expand the lung. Pareho lng na carbon dioxide ang lalabas sa bibig or sa ilong man mgexhale. Just make sure you cough out hard sa bibig at the end of each count. May mga nagtatanong paano ang mga may nasal congestion? Hindi makainhale sa nose? They can still do this exercise… inhale at exhale lang s bibig.
