Hi Doctor GREAT video. What exercises would you recommend if the shoulder blades are not moving in a normal pattern? I can't seem to get my left should blade to upwardly rotate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hello.. I am doing corrective exercises at home. Is it possible to do this wall slide exercise with triceps bar on the wall? and use weights as rollers?
Hello Dr. Thanks you for this informative video. Whenever I do this eersice, I feel some of my neck muscle been streches. May I know what muscle been streches?
My left should blade is a little higher and outer than the right. I wonder if I can correct the imbalance with the exercise or the exercise just does good to my body and the imbalance will stay forever.
Do you have anything for a weak scapula I’ve been to several chiropractors and a physical therapist and they can’t tell me anything. I just need to be lead in the right direction. I’ve tried so many things and nothing is helping
Hey man. There are many directions to which the scapula can move. It would help if you told us what kind of movements are hard to do. Different muscles help with different movements. Have the physical therapists that you visited given you exercises to help with your problem? The movement that you saw in this video is great for upward rotation of the scapula as well as flexion and external rotation of the shoulder joint. So the movements you saw in this vid could help. :)
Hi doc its nice video, i want to ask you about middle trapezius pain , i think it may because of long driving and long time rifle holding (for shooting player)
basant sain hey! I usually find and I would say most practitioners find the upper trap being much more the culprit rather than middle trap. Usually the upper trap is over utilized and chronically tight and the lower trap is under utilized and not active. My suggestion without ever seeing you is try to stretch and loosen up the upper trap and start to re-educate the lower trap with exercises. Also go see a good local Chiro and they can help!
Thanks a bunch. It definitely helps. Ill be at the gym doing these tomorrow
Thank you. Need this.
Excellent illustration
Thank you , good explanation, I am doing this exercise since 6 months
So do you progress?
