Back in 2000 my dad bought me gold, I remember going to Walmart in Arcadia California to go get it. When I got home I destroyed the box and threw it away 😔. It was the only pokemon game I had as a kid so it is very nostalgic and special to me!

Hey man your Pokemon Silver and Gold box appears to be fake go look at other videos the inside of the box should be a light tan cardboard color and yours is white or at least the video makes it seem like it is 7:11 compare the inside of your Pokemon blue box to your Pokemon Silver box the inside should be the same color cardboard if the inside is white cardboard it is very likely a repro

Very much appreciate the insight! I’ll definitely look into those when I get the chance. Thankfully I bought these for relatively cheap compared to what they’re going for now so it won’t be too big of a blow finding out if they are fake. Thankfully my crystal version is 100% legit! 🙌🏽

I was fortunate to have bought some from a retro game store near me but you can definitely find some on ebay/amazon for a pack of 10 for around $20. Hope this helps!
