Glad to hear that this brought back some nostalgia. & yeah definitely hit up your local retro game stores to see what they have in stock. Goodluck finding pokemon blue!
Your pokemon games collection is great ! The fact that they are all boxed is so satisfying. I've made the mistake of ditching all the boxes etc when i was a child, now i only have the cartridges. Hahaha I can totally relate about the "pokemon is not cool anymore" phase during teenage, then regretting a few years later... Now at 23 i just started buying the missing games again, but not boxed because it's expensive, and i'm still playing these games tbh. Currently trying to get all gba ones =) I'm happy because i still own my original copies of red, silver, fire red, sapphire that i got around 2000-2004. The games from our childhood have no price !
As a collector, i think having anything complete in box is a must lol. And yeah we all made that mistake as kids to sell our games/consoles to gamestop when in actuality we shouldnt have...as i always say hind sight is 20-20 Definitely take your time with collecting since time is on your side. Its all about the long game so just save up for that next big buy and you will definitely finish your collection goals :)
Awesome collection! So far I’m just missing Pokémon Black, Yellow, the 3ds games (minus X) and Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu. I did manage to purchase a rare Torchic Gameboy Advance SP on Reddit to play my GBA games. It’s hard to find collections of Pokémon games because, for some reason, when you type it on TH-cam, trading cards pop up instead of video games or handhelds.
Thank you & awesome pickup for that Gameboy SP! I personally want the charizard and venusaur versions that coincided with the release of firered and leafgreen. & yeah surprisingly it is pretty difficult to find peoples collections. I will making an updated collection video once I have all the main series games!
I guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Amir Dariel thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thanks for sharing your collection! Love to see all the original boxes - Johto's my favorite too! :) I only have Silver CIB (I have all the games tho) but hoping to slowly build my own collection too!
I really enjoyed this video man. One day I’m gonna build my collection up too and have all of the Pokemon games because I’m a die hard pokemon fan. Thanks for posting this man! Love your commentary! (Yes I know this was a year ago and you won’t notice this.)
Oh dont you worry, I read/reply to basically all the comments lol. But I really appreciaite it! Remember that time is on your side when it comes to collecting so no need to dive in when the market is at its high right now. & also im glad that you liked my cringe commentary. Still got a lot to polish up on in terms of video making but still glad you enjoyed it!
My Pokémon video game collection is almost complete. I'm just missing Pokémon Soul Silver, the non-dlc versions of Pokémon Sword and Shield, and Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet along with every Japanese Pokémon video games, a Nintendo DS, a Nintendo 3ds, and every Pokémon themed video game consoles.
As a child,I’ve grown up in India. The first I played was fire red. (Ofc not on gba emulator cuz I don’t know where to get those or does my mom). So I resorted to playing in mobile.I would play it for hours.I had a total playtime of about 250 hours.Until my mom bought a new phone.I was extremely sad due to this.I then grew up played some gba games( on mobile) but got exhausted due to what happened to the last games. Then I tried buying a gba emulator but in my country it costs like 4000inr plus about 500 for the game.Which is extremely high and my parents won’t allow me.So yeah I wish my childhood was great as urs.Anyway I’m 14 now I’m prolly gonna get a job in 10 years and then start making my collection.
The GBA Emulator is completely free if you have a PC/laptop because you can just download both the emulator and the rom. And the thing with collecting is that time is on your side so dont feel rushed to get ahead of the game. Just take it one game at a time and you'll definitely reach your collection goals.
Well you know something that’s what I’m exactly doing right now.I created a folder named Pokemon games and subfolders for every gen games. I finished 3 games already and started my leaf green
Thanks Vince! It's not 100% complete but hope to finish it very soon. & I'm trying to incorporate into my videos more ever since the timestamp update went live.
Amazing collection. I've collected for a while I don't go after sealed product because of the price and I want to be able to play the game and read the manual. Another fun thing about picking up second hand games is finding a save file and seeing how they played. I even like to continue their save game sometimes.
I couldnt agree with you more on both points! I love reading through the booklet and seeing the original ken sugimori artwork. And the random pamphlets or posters in some. Also it does feel like a lottery in a way in terms of what kind of save file you'll get. Some that casually played and some that grinded breeding/shiny hunting.
I'm missing Pokémon X, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for my Nintendo DS systems and the rest of the newest Pokémon video games for my Nintendo Switch Lite.
Thankfully for you, the ones you listed are among the easiest/cheapest to find. I’ve seen Ultra Sun/Moon for as low as $20 complete in box. It’s only until you get to the DS era of Pokémon games where you’ll see a DRASTIC price jump.
@@johtogiraffe yea I have seen price drop a little as well since this comment (not much but is dropping) and I just finished the Gen 1 English copies all with the white E I'm also thinking of getting the Japanese ones as well Because those seem to be way cheaper
