- I bought a mystery box from the Walthers website, and figured why not open it with you guys! Overall I think it was a great deal and had some pretty awesome things, especially if you are in to later 20th century and today. *This was not sponsored by Walthers, and purchased by myself. Views are my own opinion.
Should I do Build-A-World next?
Head to @WalthersModelTrains for more model train content!
Hi Lauren! We are doing one more restocking cycle of our mystery boxes and then will be sunsetting this program for the near future. Thanks so much for giving it a try!
@@WalthersModelTrains Thank you for the update!!
Mystery box looks fun 😊
This is the first unboxing I've seen of the Bronze edition. I've gotta say I'm impressed by how much the $75 one gets you. Thanks for sharing -Harrison.
@@SMTMainline I was honestly shocked too by the value!
I just came across this video ... Is subscribed!!! 👍
I purchased the silver and bronze bundles and they were very well packed and stuffed with so many cool items! Looking forward to their future releases of these mystery boxes! Great video!
@@Tcostello105 thanks! What all did you get in the silver box? I was curious what the higher level boxes got.
Im kinda in the same boat. My layout is only like a quarter built and i bought a gold one. Great video.
🤩

Not a bad box thanks for sharing, you can always do a give away.
@@steve87thpsap I traded what I didn’t want with my local hobby shop for a model I have been eyeing! It was a win win in my book 😊

Since I model the turn of the 19th century, I would never buy anything unseen. My faith is in Jesus, not in Walthers, Rapido or any other model maker. Most of my rolling stock I've built from kits as it's hard to find good turn of the century rolling stock. Most everything back then was based on the truss rod flat car and K-brakes came into being in the early 1900's and AB brakes didn't appear until the 1920's. I should be using link and pin couplers but prefer the ease of Kadee couplers. I had to tear down my layout when we moved from GA to TN, so I'm preparing to build another one before I croak as I'm now 74. Cheers from eastern TN
