Unboxing a Walthers Trains HO SCALE Model Train Bronze Mystery Box
I bought a mystery box from the Walthers website, and figured why not open it with you guys! Overall I think it was a great deal and had some pretty awesome things, especially if you are in to later 20th century and today. *This was not sponsored by Walthers, and purchased by myself. Views are my own opinion.

Probably My Last Time Seeing the Liberty Belle Paddlewheel Steam Ship at Magic Kingdom! - SteamPower
มุมมอง 13612 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I love anything that is steam-powered, and the Liberty Belle is no exception! The river and Tom Sawyer Island are set to be removed to make space for a newly proposed Cars Land area. The iconic steam whistle of the Liberty Belle will be greatly missed as it adds so much to the park's atmosphere. If you want to ride on this boat, definitely make plans to do so this year! Official closing date TBD.
Midwest Central Railroad Shop Work Weekend - Diesel Yard Switching, Passenger Car Project

Here's a brief vlog on some of the work that was conducted by volunteers of Midwest Central Railroad in Mt. Pleasant, IA. Some switching was done to make the shop space more efficient for winter projects. A crew worked on Coach 303 repairs. Another team was getting the Shay ready for Durango & Silverton to come back and work on repairs. Work weekends are always held the second weekend of the mo...

Railfanning the Burlington Local in Mount Pleasant Iowa - BNSF 3175 EMD GP 50 & Other Catches
มุมมอง 25821 วันที่ผ่านมา
I don't typically railfan mainline, but I figured seeing a friendly face in the cab would be fun. This was the local from Burlington, IA to Mount Pleasant, IA servicing some of the local plants. Today, the short train was hauled by one locomotive, BNSF 3175, originally built for ATSF in 1981. The local was passed by a mixed freight heading from Galesburg, IL to Lincoln, NE.

The big boy!?!
Im kinda in the same boat. My layout is only like a quarter built and i bought a gold one. Great video.
There is a guy named Hyce, and he built a Whistle that has the spitting sound of that same whistle. Its a mix of a SP and a SF variant
That’s cool! I met him once at Colorado Railroad Museum
A Model Engineers Paradise
Fantastic video! Great variety of angles and catches! Especially loved the final clip of the train reversing at the end of the night. That's still a bucket list item for me to witness that. Great work!
@@TrainiacProductions Thank you!!☺️ Railfanning At Magic Kingdom is very interesting, as spots are limited. The reversing at night was a lucky catch! I heard 3 short whistles, so my husband and I fast walked all the way from the far edge of Fantasyland. (Since you can’t run at Disney) Thankfully we caught the last train of the night going away!
Great video and nice unboxing

Those speeders our really cool I’m a junior Conductor for Midwest central and was wondering if you had to be a member or something like that because I’ve always wanted to ride on one of those
If you're a volunteer, and we have them out early in the am or doing test runs you are more than welcome to ride. You can't ride if there are ticketed passengers though.
Hey Lauren I’m also one me and him are great friends
On that Walthers mystery box that you bought do you have a ho layout
I don't have an HO layout yet, but I have a lot of HO things
Sucks they want to take out Tom Sawyer's and the Riverboat, and replace all that beauty and history with trash go karts featuring some googly eyed talking cars right in the middle of Frontierland. First what they did to Splash Mountain, now this! Ironically the only thing that could save it is if the State of Florida (of all things) rejects the permits and saves Disney from itself!
Foaming steam is always great fun!! Subbed
Are they being refurbished or is that a private collection or something? Pretty damn cool
@@rmartinez4023 Several are operational. I plan to do a more in-depth video on them. A few are being evaluated for repairs. Midwest Central is a non-profit heritage railroad that operates select days .
Lilly Belle is my favorite because she is the ONLY 2-6-0 Mogul at any Disney park worldwide, and she has the most beautiful whistle, the Buckeye 3 inch 3 chime.
I love Moguls! It's probably one of my favorite configurations.
@@thefemalefoamer Same here, Moguls came in all kinds of different shapes and sizes. As for Lilly, she is a Baldwin class 8-18D 2-6-0 just like her older sisters, the Emma Nevada and the Glenbrook. Another great example of a Mogul is the 1884 Cooke Moguls with those large spark arrestor Congdon stacks, but sadly none of those survived for preservation but they were made popular by LGB with their model and to a lesser extent the toy versions produced by Echo Toys and Toy State.
@@gregorymuller7313 Surry Sussex & Southampton No.6 at Midwest Central Railroad is 8-18D-74.
@@thefemalefoamer Sure is, she is unique with that Southern valve gear.

They’re selling nickel plate 587 That’s something I was never expecting to hear in 2025
Usually not a fan of diesels but when it comes to narrow gauge and some standard gauge, they're pretty awesome. D-9 and 14 remind me so much of OR&L 45 with them all being Plymouths. It's just a bummer since I believe it got its engine stolen a while back. But I've been really loving the recent vlogs. Some super cool stuff! Also seeing a few of those WPYR flatcars that you guys have, I'm wondering if those were some of the ones that were originally from Hawai'i since I know they sent some to WPYR after WW2
Thank you! I thought it would be fun to bring more of a vlog approach to railfanning! I am also like you when it comes to diesel appreciation or lack thereof in many cases (steam is my jam), but tiny Plymouths are cute!! The WPYR flatcars were originally WWII boxcars at Pearl Harbor. It would be so cool to restore one of them to that time period!
@@thefemalefoamer Oh cool so the ones you guys do have are the ones that the Navy used at Pearl Harbor. Would love to see at least one of them restored. Thanks for that info on that since I'm a big railfan, specifically when it comes to Hawaii's railroads and was wondering about those since I know many of those flatcars are scattered and I know some of them were originally on Hawaii. Also not sure if you ever plan to come to Hawaii one day but it would be cool if you did some railfanning of the ones on the islands
@ I didn’t do the research, but one of the members of the railroad I believe tracked them down to their Hawaiian history. I definitely want to come visit Hawaii! MCRR had Kahului Railroad No. 12 on two separate occasions, and I love her! My favorite were the photos of her shrouded in leis.
@@thefemalefoamer Oh yeah KRR 12 is one of my favorite Hawaiian engines still around. I also love that lei photo as well and some of the others I have of her during her time on Maui. I also have a few photos of her sisters 10 and 11 too. Would love to see you come down to Hawaii and explore its railroading history

Thanks for the informative video! Nice to know more about #6 and its onion stack since I didn't really know too much information about it. I do love the photos as well. Reminds me of the Oahu Railway and Land Company's first locomotive which was also numbered 6 and named Kauila. I believe much like SS&S No. 6, OR&L 6 had a regular stack initially for most of its service life but then eventually got a balloon stack when it was retired and had it all the way until about the 1980s when it was believed to have been disposed of due to all the wear and tear. Kauila has a regular stack now but part of me does wish it had the balloon stack again, even though it looks so large on an 0-4-2T. Thanks again for the video Lauren!
