I got a 2023 GX almost a year ago and I'm happy with it. It wasn't easy moving on from my 2WD V8 4Runner Limited a couple of months ago because though they are very similar mechanically, the 4Runner drove a little better. This is because the GX is 1000lbs heavier, something a lot of people don't talk about. The transmissions are identical (besides the extra gear) so it definitely feels sluggish in comparison. I had updated the 4Runner brakes to the GX 460 brakes (they bolt right on) so along with the lighter weight & larger steering wheel, it also felt lighter on its feet (especially without the AWD push). That being said the GX is smoother, quieter, and has the modern tech you expect. The swinging door and high load floor is a bit of a quirk but you deal with it (even if you'll never use the 3rd row). At first, the volume knob got me too, but I'm happy to report that muscle memory gets used to it! The worst part is the touch pad/buttons. Unfortunately, you HAVE to use it for certain functions. It wasn't perfectly thought out but it's not a deal breaker. I had a Corsa Pro Series muffler installed and though it wasn't as loud as I was expecting, I actually am liking it more subtle. Looking forward to your GX550 video

The OE size of 265/55/19 doesn’t leave a lot of options. But by going to a slightly bigger tire 275/55/19, you get several more options. I like to go to Discount Tire and their website is usually pretty good at giving me other tires sizes that will fit my vehicle so I can see what’s available.
