Thanks for the love! 🙌 We actually did a video comparing both methods using one design-check it out here: th-cam.com/video/uIOyd_nZPgM/w-d-xo.html. Let us know what you think!
Great video! Love seeing the comparison the technique of blending the DTF into the shirt with halftones. Also, the talk about how each processes usefulness, and at what point you would screen print vs DTF. Cool hair Ryan.
Really good comparison video. DTF definitely looks like a useful tool to have and hard to beat in some print on fabric scenarios. But I guess if we are looking at wider income opportunities, and the DTF advantage is short run, then the advantage of screen printing probably overlooked is that you can print on more than just fabric and clothing.
Great point! DTF is awesome for short runs, but screen printing’s versatility goes beyond fabric-think wood, glass, and more. Both have their strengths, and together, they’re a great combo! 💪
A lot of useful information. Much appreciated. I care about our planet along with quality merch. Do you guys have a video on how to properly drain the inks and emulsions? Best way to clean ink containers for reuse?
Cant beat the comp, you join the comp... There is a man who brought dtf to america back early covid time frame.his name is brother earnest he had cancer from the dtf powder.. People just think of the fumes from heatpressing like secondary smoke..... I have notice heat pressed material will crack sooner over time.. Material i dont heat press will fade color with no cracking...i am referring to polaspisol paint .
Before screen printing I've tried DFT first, DTF quality totally sucks. But most customers won't know about quality differece they'll just go with what's fast and quick and DTF has the advantage in that
@@somerandomvideos7694 I sold 600 DTF'd hoodies to Lionsgate and they said it was the best printing they had even received. Our preferences as screenprinters are not always how the end customers perceive quality.
Love these style of videos, keep them coming.
Would love to see the same “half tone” design done on both methods to compare

Thanks for the watch! Appreciate your videos on the topic too!
Awesome these new machines are so much more advanced than what we had a few years ago
You got that right!

Love this one; the traditional screen printer V DTF is an excellent approach. Colin and Ryan crushed.

dtf is killing screen printing, but i dont like the quality.

@@somerandomvideos7694 dtf is only good for tshirts made for events and only wear few times.
Need to half tone dtf images. Huge difference
