Thanks for the Saturday qualifying recap Leigh. Dang shame about that oil-down, too many of them this season. That 3.70's bracket car just doesn't want to run in the 60's.

Leigh NHRA should hire you! Always good info, for those of us too busy to watch all the time. Hate to see the oil down with Clay. Always something, but he will bounce back today. My guess for a quick driver for JFR for the rest of the season is Fast Jack. Nothing he would need to learn at all, and I can't see any sponsors objecting to him. If John retires, I believe they have that young kid in mind for the future. I forget his name, but he did some passes in John's car about a month b4 his accident. I think Beckman makes sense to go to Indy and the countdown. he is an awesome driver, and it seemed to me he always got along well with John. Who knows.....Really miss your Facebook live at the race, but western swing is tough to handle when you work full time lol. Thanks again.
I think Beckman would be a GREAT pick .. he definitely is championship capable.. & was it Jordan Vandergriff your thinking of? Somebody mentioned him but I don’t recall him making runs for them but heck I coulda just forgot. I’ll be in Sonoma for the live 😉

Going from pro stock bike to car makes sense, they both have clutches and manual transmissions, but you feel a whole lot safer in a cage.
I bet so.. I didn’t know his Dad was part owner of KB Titan Racing ( Jim Whitely).. He said he felt like this was the right next step for him.. looked like he was doing pretty good too

How many points will Clay lose for oiling the track?
1st of season is 5 points. 2nd is 10 and anything more is 15 for each. Monetary $ can also be implemented too. I don't know who decides that in NHRA, but hope it isn't the fool from last year with the ballast bag 😡.I'm still not over that lol
