How often should you clean your lens?

Hi.. You said there is a preference for using the purple gloves. I have Powder-Free Vinyl (clear), 7-Mil Powder-Free Nitrile (black) & a Powder-Free Latex Kitchen type glove (green). Would one of those be comparable to the purple? .. I use the Nitrile (black) when cleaning my telescope/camera lenses.

lol, most gloves will be fine, as long as it keeps any oils and smudges off the lens.
