I'm working on a 2016 Outlander Sport... ECU was replaced with a USED one. Vin # was programmed using AUTEL ULTRA and also IM It does let you program VIN# on ECU but not on IMMO module. When you scan info it will show ORIGINAL and ACTUAL vin#.

You can program a used pcm I have done it many times using MUT!!! and other tools etc Launch
