Thanks Lundal! Feel like a novice before the master backstab fisher 😅 Been trying out that stamp into reverse backstep into backstab I learned from your vids, it's 🔥
I really like yr videos! Very entertaining and great advice ! I use the nightrider glaive on a quality build with bloodhounds fang as I’m new to pvp. I’m thinking of adding the powerstance nagakiba build using yr strategy and movement advice ! What is the buff 💪 you do with the grafted greatsword ? Plus Im slow at hard swapping so I guess that will only come with practice
Hey thanks man, glad you like them and are learning something! The grafted sword has a special buff that gives you +5 to all stats for 60 seconds and also gives you endure for 5 seconds. Those are all great weapon choices 👍
One of my favorite builds is the Vyke build with Vykes Spear and madness incantations. Just note that it procs real-life madness when playing against it.
What mix do you use for the potion mixture? Also what other spells or buffs do you suggest? What daggers didn’t really specify in the build Also how do you think this compares to your dual nagakiba build? Or how is it compared to the urumi nagakiba with roar build?
Great vid! You can do twinblade! I use war cry in twin blades and it works really well. It helps you to make the rival respect you and not expect over trade you with HA. And its funnier than spam spinning......
Yes I recently tried this with the godskin peeler and gargoyles twinblade, the peeler gets a unique second part of braggarts roar that is the same one that the deaths pokers and sword of Milos, and it can easily catch people off guard. Also tried it with bandit curved swords, pretty much give you HA on R2 reaction trades for any small weapon
I think the S scaling on heavy infusion + the fact that chilling mist scale of weapon AR make it a really decent combo, even tho frostbite might be hard to prock without the cold infusion. Flaming strike tho scale of strenght, so pairing it with an heavy nightrider glaive and 54 STR with a level 100 or 125 build might be pretty optimised close to perfection (if we Can use such a word). Pretty good video and really nice demonstration love the commentary !
If you want to stay at meta level 125, something like 58-60 vigor, 54 str (multiplies x1.5 when 2-handing for 81 Str to hit the 80 str soft cap), whatever the minimum Dex/Int/Fth you need for the weapons you like, and then all the rest in endurance - typically 24-30 in endurance.
I tried spinning slash out a bit after I made this vid. It's a powerful true combo that will instantly proc frostbite if you go cold infusion. It's pretty sneaky with heavy infusion and unseen blade as well. However, it's much more difficult to land in a duel vs good opponents because it's slower and does not have much forward momentum, oftentimes leaving you exposed to a whiff punish by your opponent. I'd say it has much more use in an Invasion scenario where you have a couple people running at you and can use hyper armor to true combo them as they try to trade with you. In a duel setting, I prefer sword dance for its consistency and more reliable roll catch potential. Although, if you have multiple night rider glaives, you can always run both and hard swap to confuse your opponents!
Why don’t you use strength affinity as it has s scaling thus should be the better option no? Kinda new to this but what makes you choose elemental damage over pure strength?
Great question! I test both heavy and cold infusions in the video - both work well with different ashes of war. The Nightrider Glaive still has high strength scaling as cold, and also gets the benefit of frostbite proc so Cold works very well with multi hit ashes of war like Sword Dance. Landing 1 hit followed by a sword dance roll catch will proc frostbite for a ~1450 damage combo. Frostbite is excellent in PvP because once applied, your opponent takes 20% more damage. Also the instance of frostbite application stuns your enemy, often times allowing for a second free hit to string into it. Check out the whole video to see the different ways I use it!
Might I suggest spinning strikes on this halberd in particular? It's generally not a great AoW, HOWEVER, it hits really hard, punishes aggressive players and has a neat tech you can do to hit twice within the first spin giving you massive advantages on trades. Plus Nightrider is one of the longer halberds which makes for great synergy.
@VonSchnitz hell yeah! I've been using it to sunbro since it's fantastic in pve, and get a surprising number of kills vs red phantoms at rl 150 probably because they don't expect it lol. Regularly trade for 400+ damage off just one spin, and usually 800+ if I get them on a whiff punish.
Definitely a great PVE ash with damage like that, and it sounds pretty solid for trading with players too. I'm giving this a try this afternoon!@@Arclor
I did a few duels with phantom slash, but didn't include them in this vid, it is a pretty good AoW! Works well against people who go for trades when they shouldn't
@@chrisguohao I need to experiment more with all 3 of the roar buff ashes of war. I've only used them sparingly and haven't liked them too much, prob just need practice and familiarity
Nice content but thats an incomplete playstyle without the R1 HS combo and 2h 2r1 into 3r1 when aim left. Just talking about because it reallý change the way you play and allows you to very hard mixups
There's a ton of depth to this weapon, you can even headshot with thrown daggers after a well spaced R1 to combo into an ash of war. Just goes to show you that you don't need to utilize every single strategy available to get a high win rate , it's a strong and versatile weapon
I often show losses , there are a few in this compilation. I'm planning some videos using less powerful setups that will feature a lot more losses if that's what you're looking for!
I really like the progession of your videos! Commentary is really awesome explaining the fights!
Thank you! Appreciate it buddy ☺️
Great video, love the use of crouch attacks! They are also great to avoid getting backstabbed on the running R1s

Dual scavenger’s curved sword with either bleed or poison affinity
Can you try morning star
@@golldur7796 I still have never done a dedicated madness build in ER, maybe it's about time I do a video on that
@@jamangold1 I love dual status curved swords, making a new arcane character now so I'll give these a go!

Yo I just found your channel. Your videos are fantastic! You deserve a lot more subs man.
Thanks so much for the compliment! If you sub that's good enough for me!
Glaive Master Hodir? Is that you?
I actually thought about naming the vid after Hodir lol
Great vid!
You can do twinblade!

Enjoyable vid. Love me some duelling content thats not PS kibas or Lances
I got one shot by this today, fully buffed 55 vigor lionelle set, and 1 charged r2 killed me
sounds like a braggart's roar counter attack - it can be brutal!

This is a great idea! I want to give this a go with Unseen Blade, should be a nice trick to land this AoW since it's already a pretty unexpected one

How about barbarian roar With night rider? I traded with gugs and worked fine tho
