As much as I typically hate the ads for this game plaguing my TH-cam feed, this is hands down the coolest ad I’ve seen
Undeniably. Especially because Sun Wukong is just always undeniably cool.
Even then at least they put some efforts in their ads. Most game ads I see are mostly just “You can’t get past this level.”

Um, can I ask, WHY DID THEY GET RID OF THAT BANGER OF A COVER OF BAD GUY. I know the cover is by conquer divide, but the version they had in this ad was amazing….but they just decide to get rid of it….I mean I hope there’s at least still a version of that commercial with the music still available.

whole idea of pop, rap, and bubble gum crap music in hc epic fantasy game is more than weird. But guess that's why it is gambling/rpg hybrid. Attract masses. But then again, masses don't belong in this theme..∞
effort yes, research no. It's all in Journey to the West which has been adapted thousands of times into film an tv (anime = live action)

Wukong is a canonical "bad boy" so I think the song it fits.
Also Wukong dose do a lot of poetry raps about himself in the books as heroic speeches. Poetry is a big thing. So rap isn't out of place, I don't think.
Tho I would have been better if they used " Primadonna Girl" THAT song would fit him like a glove.

The fact that people are complaining about the music just goes to show how little people actually know about JTTW Monkey King. Guys, I’m telling ya, this song is literally great for him. The only other song that might go better with him is Primadonna Girl. And THAT would have y’all fuming.

@@vexzel5550 JTTW is Journey to the West and the character's full titles would be "The Great Sage Equal to Heaven the Handsome Monkey King Sun Wukong" No joke that's the title he gave himself. Sun Wukong inspired Goku in DBZ among many others. I'd suggest looking him out, he became "The fighting Buddha" after obtaining enlightenment. Sun Wukong is a pretty broken character tbh.

I don’t get it why so many people diss about the background song. If you truly know Wukong character, you would know he’s just a lonely tortured soul. Born out of stone, used by Buddha, used by his master…. All he wanted was freedom, going back to his own kingdom and hang out with his monkey gang.

Sun wasn't used by his Master, he, Sanzang, and the rest of the gang went on a journey of self discovery and gained nirvana at the end, with sun becoming the victorious fighting Buddha

One problem with wukong A2 skill when I attack on enemy with A2 and enemy survives with lowest hp place a sheep debuff on him for one turn but when the sheep debuff expire enemy's hp & turn meter goes full, Did you not see this glitch?

Its not a glitch... its just how the sheep mechanic works in every place (pvp/pve) with every character... After the sheep expires every character will return 50% HP and 50% turn meter... its just unfortunate that ur A2 wasnt enough to kill (build more dmg maybe?) and turned the enemy into a sheep. Or maybe that sheep ur complaining saved ur fight cuz if said enemy could've taken a turn u could be in trouble...

Out of all gods across mythologies, Sun Wukong is the only one who I don't know if Kratos could kill. The one thing I do know is, if they fought, the landscape would irreparably changed/completely destroyed.

Been ignoring *Raid* forever, but decided to give it a shot. Okay game. Nothing spectacular, but it gets you into that fight/reward/fight loop well enough to kill a few minutes while on breaks at work.
Got Sun Wukong, and boy he's honestly pretty overpowered at low levels, and is still going strong several levels later.
Champion: 10/10
Animation: 10/10
Story: 10/10

Yo All ,i'm just commenting about stopping the game today , Plarium is taken it to far on the Primal Shard and the requesit on fusion & events in game this game is turning into something really atrocious .I''m in the mix on the strategos fusion but i'm dropping everything from today .

Even though this commercial was cool if I'm honest when I heard they're basically giving us the combination of Donatello from the Ninja Turtles & a Monkey I was already on board 😄.
... uhh... he is a fantasy character from old asian myth... I am all about Donatello, but don't cheapen Sun Wukong to just a mix of ninja turtle and monkey... fantasy published hundreds of years ago
@@zaccoop6727 That’s fair, however, for me as someone who isn't caught up on Asian Mythology that combination was the first thing that I thought of when Raid introduced us to Sun Wukong.
While I have seen the other comments in this thread, I must say kne thing. This guy was the inspiration for Goku.
He was born from a rock, is king of the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain, is immortal several times over, has the four great dragons of Chinese mythilogy essentially on speed dial, and fought basically the entire heavenly army, including some of the greatest ones ever, with the bodhisattva Kuan'yin needing to call the Buddha in for backup, who found Wukong winning in a fight against thirty-six thunder dieties, because why not. It took the Buddha dropping a mountain on him and putting a magic seal on said mountain's peak before Wukong was finally put out of action for five hundred years until the Buddhist monk Tripitaka freed him to become a disciple of his, Kuan'yin's idea.
He also deposed and killed mumerous daemon lords along the route he Tripitaka, two daemons that had formerly been generals of the Jade Emperor, and a dragon who shapeshifted into Tripitaka's new horse after he ate the original one he had. The other guys, one a lazy bum the other being the sane one among the three, did plenty of daemon killing too, but Wukong tended to pull the most weight since the rest of the group had a nasty habit of getting captured by daemon lords they fought luke Saturday morning cartoon villains, with some being bad enough they'd have to call in help, from heavenly armies, to Lao Tzu, to Kuan'yin, to the Buddha himself.

@Raid, just give you some perspective (which I assume you never read the original novel nor you watch the original series of "Journey to the West"). The Headband Sun Wukong wearing is NOT a "Crown". Yes he is the monkey king, the crown that he wore as a monkey king is the 2nd skin you are offering in-game purchase.
