I already have a tray like this on my wishlist for Nico! I agree, it looks better & if you forget the potty pads it can still be used by itself or even with newspaper lol (old school)

@jasmine Giles ~ our 3 shih tzu mixes will not go out in the rain. Ages 4-9. I bought them a pad tray and it was more like a litter box! They were NOT having it! I don't think they'd go for the grate, but a flat smaller tray would keep it off of our floors (one of ours LOVES to go on the edge 🙄)! Thank you & I love your videos!

I always hear Yorkies are a little difficult to potty train I plan to mostly train her to go inside because I know their bladders are small and can’t hold it sometimes but she will have the option to go out as well. Thank you so much for the video. I have a 17 week old male shih tzu. I've been using Top Paw pee pad holder for about 5 weeks now and he keeps on peeing half on and half off the pad and also now he will start just peeing about a foot away from it . Not sure why he is doing this but it's just not working anymore for some reason.
I have a 1 year old Morkie. She is crazy 😜she’s a jumper and a wee wee pad destroyer 😂. I have a pad holder with 4 lathes but Daisy tries to take out white paper that’s on the back and eat it😢. I might get so thanks 😊
Would they be confused when I take them outside and they would think that they must only pee in home on the tray?

My puppy is only 8 weeks. All she wants to do is run around like a Tasmanian devil lol nipping at me when I try to play with her. I do tell her a firm NO when she bites or nips. Should I wait till she’s older to start training her?

What is the best way to pee pad train a male Yorkie that lifts their leg?

The pad holder you should around the 1:10 mark, the first one, is a disappointment.... My puppy keeps chewing on the pee pads... How do you get her to stop? I'll probably be getting the one you suggested..
Yes, this pee pad holder stops them from tearing the pads up. haha It's so annoying. lol

It can take 2-3 weeks. Just be consistent 🥰

Not that I am aware of but this is great for small dogs for sure.
My puppy won’t use that second one but she will use the other old one.

I have A MORKIE he made one last October and I'm so anal with him 🤦🏾♀️ he's an in-home trained fur baby his feet has not literally touched the outside ground he's always in his stroller when we do go out LOL but anyway I use the pee pad holders that I purchased off of Amazon and I absolutely love them we actually have four in our home two upstairs and two downstairs and he's trained to use all of them I love the one that I have because it doesn't have a screen to cover up you lift it up and you put the pee pad inside and it's absolutely amazing and when he does his business if he do number two we hurry up and dispose of it but I absolutely love that particular pee pad holder and I keep around the rim of them clean no need to put it in no type of water to wash it because again it's just a lift up and again I have them in two different sizes so I just fold the pads I purchased them in the regular size but the smaller pad holder I just fold it and it neatly fits inside the pee pad holder I also used to use the Amazon pee pads but I came across hefty pee pads and I absolutely love them because they're black instead of white I really disliked the yellow stains from his pee🤦🏾♀️🤭 LOL but with the black one you can't hardly see it it hurry up and it dissolves in the gel like materials so I said goodbye to yellow eyesore stains
I got this for my puppy mainly to stop him from chewing and eating the pee pads, but we’d only use it if I take off the top part.. he won’t pee on top of the plastic🥲 any tips on how to train him with the top part on?
Hi Kim, you can cheer lead and reward him when he steps on it. You can use the desensitizing method to make him like being on top of the crate part of the potty tray. Give it two full weeks of rewarding while he steps on it and waiting for him to pee on it and see how that goes. (Good luck, keep me posted) :-)
What size pee pad
This is only for pee but not poo. The poo will be stuck into the holes unless u r telling me your dog poo outdoor and pee indoor which is rediculars.
She uses both on this potty training holder. Her poop I just use a tissue and trash it. I also just wash the entire tray after she is done using it. I take her out to poop and pee but her bladder is tiny so the try helps.
