  • Can red light or laser light treatment improving your egg quality and fertility?
    It goes by many names: Red or near-infrared light therapy, Low Level Laser Therapy, Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT), Photobiomodulation (PBM), Cold Laser Therapy...
    Fascinating data is coming out from researchers and practitioners around the world who are experimenting with using light therapy treatments to address many health issues including fertility.
    In this video I'm sharing about how I got interested in this topic and how I've been learning more about it.
    Following this livestream, I held an in-depth live session to discuss all I've been learning about this fascinating treatment option. This available to watch to on replay inside my Improving Egg Quality Workshop, which is available to register for and watch on-demand, any time.

    My goodness, I have been trying to conceive for 11 years... my dr says I have tubal ovarian abscess, that landed me in the hospital for 5 days due to pain in February 2020. Since then I've been doing research and decided a more holistic approach to my healing process that consist of meditation and womb therapy. Unfortunately I still haven't been able to conceive with my husband. I didn't see a link for this device but I will definitely find it and start self treatment. I will keep you updated on my progress. Thank you so much for sharing this information with us. Peace Love & Light ☮💕✨

      I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles and I hope that you've been able to heal from this condition. Including a holistic approach makes sense to me, as there can be a variety of factors contributing to these issues, so there may be many pathways toward healing and bringing your system into balance for your best fertility.
      Here is a link to the device on Amazon. amzn.to/2U3MLED.
      I'm not specifically recommending this device as the choice of device and protocol is complex. I'll elaborate on my thoughts about this in the upcoming live session.

    I ordered Celluma Light and it’s very expensive compared to 75$ Amazon device.
    From from I know you should use it 3-4 times a week over the uterus, for up to 20 min, I have heard 17 min as well, and only after the period and before ovulation.
    I have also heard you can do it on the neck from the back especially for men because it’s not clear what wave length should be and it’s not worth risking.
    For me it’s not clear if it is safe to use if you have cysts or fibroids. Red light increased the mitochondria (energy) within the cells and it leads to higher quality of eggs. It there are any cancers cells this therapy is not safe as it will mean that cells with grow faster.
    I have been using it for few months and not regularly and I don’t have a result yet.

    The women that you knew that got pregnant-how long of sessions did they do? And did they put it over their uterus/ovary area? Thank you sharing all this information.

      I believe it was about 17 minutes, and yes, over the uterus...couple inches below belly button. There's a lot of guessing in all this though. I don't really know what's best.

    Is this the same as the devices that the company JOOVV offers? They have red light therapy but dont know if that is the same at LLLT? Can you also comment on the potential for EMFs from red light therapy? That is my only concern for fertility use of red light.

    • @FertilityfromtheSoul
      @FertilityfromtheSoul  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I believe the Joovv products are the same as LLLT. I know it's all quite confusing. I wish I could tell you about EMFs, but this area is not my specialty and I recommend consulting with those who specialize. I remember reading about EMFs and again, it seemed like a lot of unknowns and "it depends" kind of stuff...depends on the device, distance from your body, etc.

    I have a red light therapy device that I bought for my dog’s arthritis. I’m now using it on my ovaries and my husbands nuts. I have an ovarian cyst on my left ovary which appeared after taking birth control pills for 3 weeks before starting IVF. We were planning to do IVF with ICSI because of my husband’s low sperm count, but that’s now on hold because of the cyst. Since we have to wait, they said we can do an IUI this cycle instead. So I have to take Femara and then wait until I get a positive OPK. We’re gonna do this LED therapy too. Will update you with results

      Hey please be careful using red light on testes. I have an infrared light for my uterus and have been advised not to use it on husband because it creates heat. Men need a different kind of red light. I don’t know the details sorry and perhaps you are using one that doesn’t heat up. But if it does it can be harmful to sperm. Testes must be kept cool at all times.

      Hi Alison - which are you interested in? I don't remember all that is mentioned in this video....i have some programs that you can join any time, and others that open periodically. The Improving Egg Quality Workshop is open at all times and has bonus sessions I recorded with updated thoughts on red light therapy. My 7-day chill out challenge is typically offered quarterly, and the fertility coaching program usually opens right after that.....but I do invite people in periodically in between quarterly openings.

    Red light LED is not the same as Low Level Laser (LLLT) - although they are using the same wavelengths in the IR and NIR range there is a significant difference in light coherence and power / energy density. All the successful clinical trials that have been carried out worldwide have used either Class 3b or Class 4 laser devices. None of the trials have used red light LED devices. It is unlikely that such low power devices can penetrate deep enough into the body's tissue to biostimulate the cells. Any manufacturer of a red light device is misleading if they are claiming that an LED device of a few dollars can aid fertility.

      Your thoughts on this article? www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6091542/
      "The current total evidence appears to support the idea that photobiomodulation is not dependent on lasers or coherence, but quasimonochromatic LED devices and even broad-wavelength light sources such as water-filtered infrared-A can also yield physiological effects." It sounds like it's up for debate among scientists, so I wouldn't rule it out just because lasers were the first approach and therefore have been the most tested. Sometimes less expensive strategies do emerge that can do the trick. This is not my area of expertise by any means, but there's enough research going on in this arena using LED devices that I wouldn't write it off as pure quackery. Here are examples of studies on cognitive issues: www.vielight.com/research/

    People say you cannot go near laser while pregnant

    • @sweeteternalreader5912
      @sweeteternalreader5912 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It is not to use when pregnant, but to improve egg quality previously in order to get pregnant. See the difference??
