Black and white photography that truly impacts the observer's eye has more demands on the photographer because it does not have color as a source to enhance the final work. The artist's fundamental enhancing tools are tone and contrast plus his own artistry to experiment with partial treatments in each scene. Your video presents photographs that take my breath away, which have provided my brain with the wonder of the scenes, but allowed my eyes to winkle out admiration through confronting the multiple surprises of each scene. Chapeau!
BW PHOTOGRAPHY means imaging in greyscale in a colorful world, which is not easy. Awesome! An excellent job has been done thanks for sharing have a nice day.
you wrote interesting articles about Ansel Adams and about Exposure to the Right , could you make a video with the histogram and how you edit to reproduce Zone System ? for instance which part will be zone V and why you burn/dodge some parts ?
Thanks for your comment. You've read the article, I understand. I will think about a video. Since my native language isn't English, that will be a challenge :)
I don't believe that information brings any additional value. It's just a showcase of black and white photos. It's about the photos, not about the location or boring camera settings.
A camera registrates the surroundings, the existing light, with the limitations of a digital sensor. It's mandatory to edit the photos in editing software for the best end results. It's exactly the same as a darkroom when photography was not yet digital.
Some nice work there lil buddy. Love the mountain tops in the thumbnail, stunning!
Powerful images and great inspiration..! Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Lovely soulful images . Thank you

@@nandoharmsen I dont mind the language, sometimes youtube is able to translate
👍
Beautiful images
Thank you
Nice work. I suspect you had to wait to capture such beautiful light.
Indeed. Sometimes it is necessary to watch the light evolve into something desirable
Wonderful
Please post some of your metadata.
beautiful, but the greyscale cannot match of dedicated monochrome camera
What is your preferred lens for monochrome landscapes? what type of drone are you using for your Ariel shots? Subbed.
Just like Ansel Adams.
Love the photos what camera and film
Thanks - I used different cameras. These are all digital photos.
Mooie foto,s Nando zwart wit blijft mooi.
Dank je wel Tonnie
Excellent photos but without context!!!! Where are they? Where are they taken from? What were the conditions? I am sorry , but you have lost me!

The f64 guys would have loved this
What is the music? It suits the slideshow. Thank you for posting.
I can't remember. I downloaded it from Artlist.io
Fantastic images, which camera were they taken with?
All, kinds of camera's. Not one in particular.
The camera that you use doesn't make any difference
USE 35mm camera? or landscape camera?
A digital camera
Question: Does Nando create these wonderful images in camera with sensitivity and skill or after hours in Lightroom?
A camera registrates the surroundings, the existing light, with the limitations of a digital sensor.
It's mandatory to edit the photos in editing software for the best end results.
It's exactly the same as a darkroom when photography was not yet digital.
Very nice work
