What a lovely surprise to get a comment from you guys. I Absolutely love your armoured stuff especially for the track. Would love to collaborate with you guys one day to showcase your track orientated gear. It was my first time there at oulton , and I absolutely fell in love with that track , I cannot wait to book a few next year .
@@ChasingTenths that's cool, so glad you like our products! Yes, been a subscriber for a while and really enjoy your videos! Sounds good, feel free to get in touch anytime 😊. Done a few UK tracks this year, but oulton was my first and probably favourite, love the blind sections and challenging bits plus all the beautiful scenery and grounds of the track, it's just awesome imo. All the best, Aaron Knox
@@KnoxArmour thanks Aaron, appreciate the reply, I’ll definitely get in touch , you guys do a tremendous job. I didn’t know you watched my videos, it feels wonderful. I’ll definitely get in touch. The one thing I loved about Oulton is that how the camber is so positive and it really urges you to give it more and the confidence gain is immense . The quirks of the circuit are unbelievable, I am working on a very detailed vlog on this one. Thanks again
This was a great watch mate. You were up on your lap time until the final corner on for lap 5!! Lots of data provided for the experience.. Great what your doing!! Keep it up!!
Really impressed with how planted and smooth your RSV4 is. I normally ride a ZX636 and had the opportunity to swap to a Gixer 1000 for a few sessions at Oulton and found the front wheel always want to lift under acceleration and the rear wanted to lift under braking. Was like riding a bucking bronco horse. If I could sort a 1000 bike that would ride as well as yours would probably set away from the 600's to something with more power.
Hi Robert, thats a very interesting event , I have just come from a 4.5 hour race at Anglesey and we had a guy whose bike was doing that , take your bike to a really good suspension person , this issue will be resolved wither with a few clicks or a spring change, springs aren't that expensive and yes, thank you , I was having a lot of fun there , bike felt great , I didn't want to make any silly moves to overtake him , I was happy to sit behind him and see how he is going that quick in straight line and then found my moment and took him , he's a good rider. thanks for watching and noticing such details
Well done on that Abhi, all the while you were behind the yellow/black rider I knew you'd be able to pass, if only they were able to hold a line... proper raggedy riding from them. You were really smooth, and so much faster in the corners. Don't get me wrong, I'll never be able to ride as fast as either of you, but I know which riding style I'd feel safer following! :D
Bless you mate , thanks for the kind words I respect the other guy a lot He was a really lovely rider but we both had our strengths & weaknesses clearly He was fast out of corners And I was fast on brakes and midcorner It was just great fun I really look forward to being with you on track one day You’ll get a warm hug from me that’s for sure lol
Thanks mate, it seems closer than actually is with this GoPro super wide fish eye effect caused by it but yes I am close lol , I try to maintain a separate line to the rider in front so if they decide to brake mid corner then hopefully I don’t run into them but it can happen on the switch back so fingers crossed it doesn’t happen lol . Thanks for commenting mate
@@ChasingTenths I LOVE IT I AM GOING TO SEE ALL YOUR VIDEOS ARE AMAZING I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN FROM YOUR RACE ! ! ! ! ! THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIR ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Love this. I wanted to ask you, why are you not running a racing triple tree like from CNC or Spider? No real advantage for the cost? Also I enjoyed that you pointed out MPH on your actual display, it was nice to see your speed in both K/MPH.
Hi Ryan, I just run the standard yoke , to be honest mate. After spending so much money on the bike, one tends to realise (only after being skint lol) that it’s time to spend money on coaching rather than parts lol …. So I have now tend to stop buying bling stuff but investing in looking after the bike mechanically, tires & track time plus coaching here & there . Yeah now I removed the silicon screen from my dash protector , people can see the dash more clearly but still it’s not where I want it to be. Dash flickers on camera so I need to look into the camera settings and dash display has a slight issue which I need to resolve . Also, my yoke says limited edition 180/500 lol so I am pretty chuffed with that Thanks for taking the time out to comment
@@ChasingTenths EDIT: I guess I’m asking do you know what the race triple tree does if anything, besides weight reduction? And good response! I agree, my mentor told me training first and always. I’ve spent thousands on pro level schools and 1 on 1 coaching. It’s absolutely the best investment. I also still love a bit of bling though lol, and I fancy yours one of the best looking!
@@ryanlowe2808 thanks Ryan, as far I am aware the price of the triple clamp outweighs the benefits achieved , so if I were you I wouldn’t bother . I don’t think I will ever be buying that to be honest . I think the more focused I am lately the more track time I want to achieve Because that has really been the key for me recently to be comfortable at a decent pace
@@ChasingTenths Thank you my friend. Sorry for all the questions on TH-cam and not Facebook. I stopped using my FB after I retired from bodybuilding and can’t stand social media lol. I need to go look at your page though and add you as a friend so I can discuss these things with you. I value your input and your experience. It’s helped me a great deal so far. With regards to selecting parts for my bike especially. I just uploaded a video of mine if you get a chance to look! Getting her ready for Aprilia Racer Days Tuesday at Barber in Birmingham AL.
No mate, it doesn’t bother me at all, you get used to it, but you get into a rhythm and you not only know how the guy is riding , his strong points , his weaknesses and you start to trust him. So here is a good example, he was slower in the corners compared to me so I choose a different racing line to him in the corners but then I will cut back because I know he exists the corners better than me so then I can stay behind him . So it’s a trust thing but always an eye on the brakes too. Also most importantly, the super wide mode of the GoPro makes things look closer than they actually are sometimes . But no doubt I was very close to him but always on a different line to him & then I would switch back and try to stay with him. It’s all good fun and games but trust here plays an important role plus self awareness . Hope I explained it correctly for u, feel free to ask more questions
Hey Tobias. It was my fault mate , I was in the wrong gears out of corners But that R1 was a bit quicker for sure By the end of the way I was 8 seconds quicker, but I really enjoyed this session with the R1, the guy was quicker out of corners , on straights but turn in and mid corner I was quicker so it made good fun
@@Xvok031 because I am so stupid lol, honestly , I can’t believe for the first 2 or 3 laps in the video I was using third gear, I was having too much fun behind him. But by the end of the day I was on the right gear and altogether I went 7 seconds quicker . :) Well noticed Tobias
Some dodgy riding at times by you but just to be expected by a fast novice/ inter rider. To be honest you would improve a lot by riding a less powerful bike
Awesome fun on the UK 's best track!! 🤩
