Hey Rob & crew, am kind of in dubio about your format... not pro or con, just mind of miss the interaction of "The Game" . Want to make the comparison with Game Knights ... they have the full version (Lots of Editing ... I know) and there is yhe "Extra Turns", wich is a faster / less interaction . I think you want to make sort of Deck Tech / Gameplay combo with paper, but to me it feels a bit like looking at Arena Game play (not my thing either) ... It is quite different though from what "most" do , and again , my opinnion is not holy or truth ... have you had othdr reactions to it? Or discussion amongst your crew? Just wondering. Also a bit hard to follow with the "tiny" cards on the table , have to remember what was played on the table too ... and with double speed 😳😬. Do understand that the advantage is a shorter play time, but in honesty , I prefer the longer ones with some "B*ll💩" between you boys and/or girls ... You put in a lot of your time in this , and that deserves vieuws, commrnts and likes IMO. Would like to hear a bit of background on your choise ... maybe it is "So New" that it takes o bit of getting used to ... But when you said "Bit of table talk ... Rob has to ☠️" I would have loved to hear that discussion ... could you try a sort of combo? Where the fun interavtions are played and the non interesting plays go a bit faster... saying it goes fast and makes it sound easy, but I AM AWARE this would take a big chunk of time ... Lion, you know I love to hear your thoughts / opinions, and will for sure take them into consideration. I would really like to have a game knights level of productions, but I am not a full team / lack many of the skills required to produce such a product. That being said, I have enrolled back to college for digital media production, which I start in January. I am hoping to learn the skills to step up my game quite a bit, or learn that I lack the talent, and find folks who do, that are willing to work for the projected "future" opportunities haha. I think initially I was looking at doing something closer to MTG Muddstah, trying to keep it realistic vs command zone haha. Would it be easier to follow if i put up larger images of the stack / triggers, etc? As for the long form versions, I now have a 4 lav mic system, and perhaps if i get a 4 track audio system, I could balance the audio from each player, because I am substantially louder than the other three people. I do have some hearing loss / tinnitus so I tend to speak loudly so I can hear myself haha. Thank you for the time you took on your comment, and I really appreciate all of your feedback. I am currently editing another game, but I will attempt to produce this one differently.
@BionMTG I have Tennitis and Old Man DEAFNESS 🦻 too... 😂🤣😅😁, could hear that your microphone went into its "limitor" ! 😜 You going to the Media School, 🙌 sounds real interesting but will take away time from other things ... there is only so much time in a day and, well do not know bout you, but I am no millionair , well off for sure, but have to work full weeks. 🤑 For info , I do Mechanical and Welding work-preparation and supervision in Petrochemical Plant 🏭 Overhauls ... traveling Circus I call it, 🤡 most of the time I am 1 to 1 1/2 years in one location and then move on. Do have the advantage of having the Rotterdam and Antwerp (Belgium) Harbour / Port area with lots of Petchem and Tankerparks within an hour drive, so enough work and not TOO far. 53 years old, married for 35 and 2 boys 19 and 23. 👨👩👦👦 Magic since 94/5 Revised , stopped & started several times. Sold my Power 8 and lots of duals in 2020 to renovate our house/garden ... best invest ever ! It is also hard to explain (put into words) and most likely also for you hard to imagine, but when you were not IN the game 📺, it's hard to follow from a bystander point of vieuw. Cards in hand, on the table, the stack, the graveyards, when sitting @ the table it IS different. Do not know if you have ever played on Spelltable ... in that way you would see the game as "we" do without pré information / background. I realy liked "I Hate Your Deck" when they started out. Felt like real people playing a real game, but as the subscriber numbers grew, just as with Game Knights, the Real was swapped over for the "Canned" laughter and scripted jokes.... stopped my subscription there. If It feels like "Income" or "Shill" to me I unsubscribe ... well not right away, everybody deserves a "Take Backy" as we all make mistakes and Magic HAS to be a game before anything , preferably casual where all had a good time eventhough they did not win. I have noticed also with other channels that the power creep is something to watch out for. In the end everybody likes to win and well hen you bring a slightly "better" deck each time , gonna be "Josh Lee Quai" 15 minute turns with all sorts of triggers and ... whatevers. I think you know what I mean. And for the final time, I am but 1 voice in a sea of sound. Ask others what they would change about the show... open question and take notes ... might be some nice pointers and tips too, never too old too learn. Though I have my set ways too, we all have weakspots , ADHD symptoms and some form of Autism 😉 ! Enjoy what you do and DO what you enjoy. And in that way, skill becomes more factor than "cards" . Could do a few stats with that like cards drawn, creatures cast or damage don ... not TOO much detail, but more for the "feel" ....... hope I made a bit clear 😬🙄😋
