Nice work. Few points you are doing not quick accurate. 1) Sand the face and edges with 220 grit sand paper(oil wont get absorbed completely, if not sanded) 2) oil the bat face, edges etc atleaset 2 rounds, each leave stay for 12-24 hrs to dry 3) knocking the edges at 45 degrees

I knocked then oiled then I tried to knock in but more because I have ca Ca plus 10000 bat and it felt well different.

Hi Vivek, yes, you have to do oiling first before knocking in. there is no any specific amount of oil. you can apply light coat of oil. if you think ,bat required another coat of oil,you can apply another coat of oil. however less oiling is better than over oiling.over oiling will increase the weight of bat.

Hi, i do not understand that why do you want to knock the bat after one year. if you are using this bat from last year.it should be knocked by using it.if you will remove the scruff sheet, there is a high risk of damaging the bat so please refer to local bat repairer.you might need heat gun to remove scruff sheet.
But ball seam Mark is still on bat face ...nd that's why I thought that it is not knocked properly....I did knocking with hanging ball only for 2-3 weeks when it was new

I knocked in my bat 15 Minute each edge and rounded it but I don’t know if I done it right
And I did the toe I did it correct and I did sweet spot.
After knocking I oiled the bat just light covering
What else do I need to do Because it pre knocked but I used the bat before knocking my self and it left marks

RFAM MODZ , 15 mins knocking is not enough. For Pre knocked bats , at least 2 hours knocking required.

If I have an old bat that hasn’t been knocked in or oiled. Would there be any use of oiling or knocking the bat as it is still slightly heavy and shots don’t go far.

Hi Sir, how much oil should we use when oiling the bat, and how much longer would you need to knock in your bat if you using old ball in a sock technique.
1 or 2 light cote of linseed oil.do not over oil the bat. knocking in time is depend on bat.normally it takes 4 to 5 hours however some bats take only 2 hours and some bats take around 6 hours.

you can do oiling after knocking in the bat, it is not a problem however I would prefer oiling the bat before knocking in as the wood will be softer and oil will get soaked properly.

After knocking in , ping of bat should be improve. In your case, I can not advise you unless I check the bat personally . I would advise you to see somebody ,who is experienced person and have knowledge about the bat. He will guide you accordingly. Thanks.
You probably need to reknock the bat in for a little while. Usually what oiling does is it adds moisture to the bat fibers which actually helps in knocking the bat in further. Reknock the bat and see if it helps.

Hi, if scruff sheet applied on the bat. You do not need to oil the bat as it retain the moisture itself.

Asad Alu , I think you are talking about cracking which happens in grains while knocking in bat. That's absolutely fine. You do not need to worry. This is a sign of your bat has been knocked in . For further protection, you can use Scuff Sheet on face of the bat. Thanks.
I have seen a small dent like on the face of bat during knocking and tried suppressing it's edges....What can be done here
nothing much can be done, you can apply scurff sheet on it to prevent further damage.

But I applied oil after knocking is that alright
RFAM MODZ don't worry if you do it the other way round. The only reason I recommend oiling then knocking is because the wood is softer before knocking, thus letting the oil be soaked in.

First of all.you should understand that all bats made from wood and water is not good for any kind wood.regard less of price and cost.
you can try to dry your bat in to sunlight however you would not enjoy your bat like before.
you can remove your sticker and you can try to dry your bat but you have to be very careful while removing stickers as it can be damage your bat.you can try hair dryer to remove stickers from the bat.
Don't put the bat in direct sunlight ,dry in shade .. it has to be dried like the willow is dried before a bad is made out of it . It will take some months . You can weigh the bat and compare to it's original weight .

Hi Akhil, knocking in required only on face of the bat. back of the bat does not require knocking in however you can do oiling but only expose area not on stickers.

Hi AKHIL , sorry for misunderstanding. We use upper part of the bat only for defending so light knocking in required. However you have to take extra care while knocking in this part of the bat as wrong or careless knocking in can be damage the handle of the bat and joint. Hope this information is sufficient for you. How to remove extra oil if it is over oiled
Usama Sohail , now it is very difficult to remove oil from the bat. That's why we recommend less oing on bat. You can try tissue paper. Which will help you to sock some oil from your bat. If it does not. Please do not worry. Little bit extra oil will not cause too much problem.
