What should Walt dress up as in the next video? Leave your suggestion to be featured in the next video!
Donald Duck?
Dress As a captain❤❤❤
dress up as Walt Disney with a cig in his hand
About the FNAF joke Scott has said that he isn’t planning to open a FNAF restaurant because of fear that someone might try to recreate the games
OMG LOL NOOO 😂😭
No, but there is totally some psychopath ready to do that. Like I mean it.😭
That’s actually a rumor he never said that he just said he can’t because of the fast food part it’s hard to run a restaurant
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@MillieDuufood=plastic props
When the robots rebel, it’s gonna be awkward fighting against the faces of our most beloved characters.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That moment when "no hard feelings princess" will be literal
ok hopefully nobody makes a real life v1 im gonna be trying to hug it (and then ill die)
Watching as the robot that ends you gives you a perfect Dreamworks smirk
Good things when you get stabbed by elsa and she start singing.
The Judy Hopps robot is adorable, but her climbing out of that box looking like a grey alien cryptid made me burst out laughing.
I had no idea what that was, thank you. 😅
All this, and they have yet to fix the Yeti on Expedition Everest, lol. Glad I got to see him operate in his original mode when the ride first opened.
To be fair, they would have to close the ride for an extended amount of time, and there really isn’t a whole lot to do animal kingdom, probably resulting with less guest visiting the park. But I’m with you, and I do want to see it fixed one day.
If I am not mistaken he was shut down because of trouble with his attachment spots, I might be wrong though
@@Loose_Coveyeah the gurders holdimg the animatronics were bending from its movements
He’s attached to the mountain’s main structure and causes damage to the supports when moving, they’d have to dismantle the entire thing to get him working again.
Been on smugglers run about 10 times and still haven't seen Hondo working.
We aren't too far from having a real Glamrock Animatronics with A1000 like tech.
AHHH YESSSSS!!! i NEED to meet roxy.
YESSS ONG WISHING FOR THIS
I heard "free roaming" and my FNAF alarms went off immediately
My mouth was wide the whole time. The droids are so cute...but then the lantern scene in the Tangled ride...tears.
I want to see a Disney movie made with animatronics and puppetry if they're this realistic to the 3D models
Oh so you mean finally go back to the 90s? Cause I'm tired of this new CGI, I miss actual action with realistic puppets.
Going all the way back to practical effect eh?
I can now only imagine how we could possible see the next wave of animatronics being like the A1000 animatronics that also have the Free Roaming technology built into them. If that wouldn't be taking immersion to another level I don't know what will. Especially if they also have working AI that can interact with people with their respective personalities.
Har har har har har har har har har harr
But it'd also be a maintenance nightmare, they'd have to be insanely rugged and withstand any abuse they might receive from visitors, plus they'd have to be able to do very quick diagnostics with the amount of electric motors
We do not need fnaf irl 😭
@@chiaraj1003that what intertaiment is suffer to create something good paying that it would be liked and they will do that it's just a mater of time and were going to have free roaming animatronics A1000+ whit realistic facial expressions whit indestructible capabilities and whit AI and even acrobatic 😅 it's gonna be helll for maintenance is gonna be the joob whit the most stress rate recorded and suicidal 😂
That’s the next level indeed! Free roaming and reactive interaction.. and it would be one step closer to Westworld.. :D
Anna’s thawing, while impressive, isn’t the first time they did this. I guarantee you that they used the same techniques to showcase the Beast turning back to his human form in the Beauty and the Beast ride. The method visually looks kind of familiar.
And there’s nothing wrong with that! It’s an excellent technique to use for rides
This is actually a less advanced effect than Beauty and the Beast, I actually got the chance to ride Beauty and the Beast in Tokyo last Fall. The frozen Anna just a projection over a figure, the same technology they used for the "faces" on the Epcot version of the ride. Granted, the defrosting effect is of the most well-timed and effective projections in the world, but the Beast's transformation literally has him float up and completely change form right before your eyes. This is done with maybe projections but primarily Pepper's Ghost. There's a hidden pane of glass over the scene, and an animatronic of the Beast is reflected on the glass, giving him the illusion of being in the scene, when he's actually slightly out of view. A bright flash occurs, and a previously obscured animatronic of the Prince is revealed at the same time they transition off the Pepper's Ghost. It's a much more complicated effect, that wasn't needed for Frozen since Anna doesn't actually change shape. There probably isn't a pane of glass in the Frozen ride
@@rando_calrissian that’s really interesting 🤔 I’ll have to read up on peppers ghost.
I can’t help but notice Japan is getting all of the good stuff in Tokyo Disney lol
That mama odie is so sweet. I love how soft her skin looks.❤
Im so obsessed with these, theyre an incredible step forwards in animatronic technology!
I don’t think enough credit is being given to the people making the OUTSIDE of these animatronics. They’re so good that they look like CGI!
Mixing animation with animatronics is mind blowing to me. It's amazing. The only thing that makes me concerned is the amount of tear and wear the silicone will go through from constant use. But I'm not an expert, so I bet the imagineers will deal with it.
That's what I worry about too. All those parts that move independently are going to be shifting very often, it seems. We'll find out the results in a year after opening, I guess!
I hope they replace the frozen animatronics at Epcot with these ones
I doubt it's out of the question too, I mean, the added the old three caballeros animatronics and replaced the finale animation with those three. Maybe next year or the year after we might have them?
@@spinningpeanut that’s true but it was meant to open like that but I think something was wrong with the animatronics then so they opened it with a screen
@@FatFiber8096It wasn’t intended to have animatronics, they were freed up after the original show they were in closed at Tokyo Disney, so they put them in there to replace the screen.
Same here
I’m sure Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be awesome, but I still wish they didn’t have to replace the old Song of the South theme.
Mama Odie has the best facial animation! I was stunned when I first saw her
I have the mental maturity of a teenager despite being an adult and laughed so hard at the Pascal animatronic in the healing scene XD
Whoa, 3D animation expressed through a 3D vessel. That’s pretty cool.
All these animatronics made me think of FNAF and my fears just went way up.
aaaaaand i dont wanna go to disney world anymore
Dude, Skynet, T-1000s and T-800s
The bite of 24
imagine them all years after, abadoned
William Afton has got new competition.
These animatronics' smooth movements and range of motion are definitely impressive. 😲
I love the little Star Wars robots, they're such neat lookin' little guys. 😁
The robots doing the crazy stunts and acrobatics was INSANE. 😱😁
Thanks for this video, was a real treat. 👍👍
Thank you very much!
Nice to see all the impressive animatronics that will definitely be placed in B mode by the time I get to see it. But these do look pretty sweet.
yeah I was thinking that, how long are they actually going to remain like this
Wow, that’s advanced
I'll say!
I dont even watch star wars, but the little tiny walking robots are so cute!
Seriously, my impulsive brain wants to pick one up and carry it home with me 😂
I went to TDS last week and experienced Frozen Journey. it's a masterpiece and recommend it to all.
Also, a advice to those who are going to ride it, on the right side of the ride in the direction of go,
TDR can request a seating position.
In Louis’ animatronic skeleton, there is a hidden Mickey on his chest. Just pointing it out.
I saw that! It’s super cute, honestly. Like a little visual treat that’s just for the developers as they work on these things.
The night guard gotta be prepared..
You’ll be happy just as long as your survive five more nights!
Man, I honestly *wish* I can see these in action at the parks, but its just *sooooo* expensive. 😅
I need free roaming ghosts in the Haunted Mansion and Phantom Manor. That could be awesome!
My dad actually built and serviced the animatronics for Disney Florida . They were actually extremely basic during the 80, mainly just collections of pneumatic valves.
Next they make FNAF
Could you imagine them saying "we made them as accurate to the game as possible" like how accurate are we talking?
Sounds nice seeing these nice highly advanced animatronics! 😀👍🏽
That Weasel that pushes the cart and then grabs the rope is AMAZING!!! 🙌😍😎
We are all underestimating how mind-blowing this is.
These are brilliant, but I'd like to know more about Boston Dynamics' robots. I can't remember if they were discussed in detail on this channel before...
Not yet! But we’re working on a video about Boston Dynamics
This video is incredible! Well done to whoever wrote, produced and edited this. Absolutely top notch content for TH-cam.
And where did all of the Animatronic footage come from. Disney+, TH-cam or a combination of both? Or.... you may work for Disney :)
It’s an amazing report, thank you!
Though I might say I’ve clicked on the thumbnail after getting it recommended to me 6 or 7 times. Changing the thumbnail to convey the advancement more clearly (maybe the boat and lights scene?) could defined bring more eyes to this great video essay!
These animatronics are fascinating and pleasant to watch. Never thought I’d see the day.
Anyone else excited to see these breakdown? I dont want them to break, i just love videos of animatronics
It's going to be a very different experience, I bet! Usually failures in the older animatronics are due to the hydraulics losing pressure or something, which can't happen here with electric models.
It'll be disappointing if they simply shut down upon error
@PKLuver944 well they could freeze I think.
Even though I liked splash mountain, I love the idea of if becoming a princess and the frog ride! Can’t wait to see it
Very interesting to see all of them!
😍 Amazing! Now the biggest step up for them is making fully animated emotions in the face.
It's ironic that these things look more realistic than the robot news you see on the internet today.
Fr
Oh..this is so totally amazing!!! Great job imagineers! Can’t wait to bring the family back to see the new ride! We loved that movie so much.. Super excited! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great work. I love the facts!
The Louis animatronic is impressive, but the open seam around his neck seems kinda noticeable.
Brilliant as usual, I adore it. Feels like stop motion characters are about to enter the scene.
I really love the idea. would also be a great idea to incorporate this into rides too
I think I speak for a lot of people here: A series dedicated to proper grip, stance, unholstering, etc would be awesome. You’ve got some of the best shooting I’ve seen on TH-cam, so I really trust whatever tips and tricks you’d have for us
The budget on these must be astounding! Amazing work by the engineers and artists; it must be nice to have the freedom to play in a toy box like that! Wow!!
So, anyone think we might get a Walt Disney animatronic at some point? He could tell his own story at Disneyland!!! 😱
Disney building robots is something I would have never imagined
Those lil duck robots are so frickin cuuuuuuute Also the Zootopia robots! That's really cool!
this makes my anxiety sky rocket. can’t tell you why, just… innately unsettling
That feeling is known as "uncanny valley" where it's quite human but not and it is unnerving.
Not sure if Walt will actually see this, but you should wear a crocodile beanie 😃
How smooth they are is so impressive
Louis is impressive!! 🙌🙌🙌
Oh yes use cutting edge animatronics… sure they will break down constantly and go into “b-mode” (looking at you Kylo) but hey when they do work 5% of the time it will be amazing!
They look great!
The droids are so cute 🥺
Happy Memorial Day Fastpass Facts
so their like. animating stuff. in a 3D space. At least that what im getting from Lewis’s animatronic. That’s so cool whoaa
Those Frozen animatronics are amazing! I hope they refurbish the WDW attraction with those!
The Tiana animatronics look so good and the little droids are adorable, Judy hops is also so cool!😭
I've seen the Boston Dynamic robots, I somehow never thought of their use in things like Disney themeparks... Dynamic robots, that's so interesting! Technology is scary, but it has some amazing uses.
Wow! I love technology!
Wow, these Animatronics are incredible, they are very beautiful, especially their faces, they are very detailed, very beautiful ❤❤❤
oh this is just so cool
I'm here for it, like wow... 🤯
I find this interesting because it's like they're programing 3D models but physically. wouldn't it also be possible to mocap movemnt- er well i guess the animation from their respective movies be lost, so i guess they want them to move a specific way but I feel like that can still be translated and more time saving with mocap if the person wearing was given instructions on how to move, like quirky styles or elegant.
It's a very human thing to develop hyper advanced robotics, just to use it for amusement parks.
I think Frozen Ever After in World of Frozen Ride should replace the animatronics of Elsa and Anna for a better versions from Tokyo Frozen Dark Ride because if you've seen the whole thing on TH-cam videos then you would undestand what I mean.
Wow, just calling out Poseidon Entertainment like that. XD
You know it's true!
4:14 Funny, the ride opens on my birthday
They can’t wait to meet you🥰
Dude when I was at Disney land 2 days ago in galaxy’s edge they were filming the new robots in front of the falcon and the robots were dancing and hitting each other😂
13:24 ok the spikes out of the ground are nice but not so impressive but OMG the fountain freezing?! ⛲️❄️😱 That's incredible!!! I watched it back in slow motion multiple times but i still can't see how it's done! Amazing effect!!!!!
I got nothing. I can't work it out either. I originally thought they were projections on a surface but the fountains' ice extends beyond??
Cool cool.... When they gonna fix the people mover though?
I want one of those little bird bots
i have been to disney land in ameraca and it was so fun i never wanted to leave disney land 😢
I'm impressed.
When Disney is working harder on the parks than the movies
Universal has gotta make a fnaf ride or attraction!!!
I wonder if those Star Wars robots will ever get good enough to where they can be used practically on the LED screen sets so the actors can properly communicate with them. Could give 3D modelleres/animators/VFX artists even MORE reference shots to base the CGI robots on as well.
I wish you'd go more into details on the development and training processes of the mini duck-like bots. Where can I get more resources on that?
the stationary animatronics are cool.
the ones that can move? slightly terrifying. maybe thats just the fnaf talking but it feels dystopian either way
I wish they'd make it a roller-coaster ong
The animatronics are great on rides. The virtual screens to add characters to a ride bring down the immersiveness of the ride imo. Under limited circumstances with proper techniques screens and projectors can be cool, but on the newer rides at Disneyland I haven’t seen the execution there. Hope they continue down the animatronic path, it’s much better.
I hope we will see animatronics as good as the Tiana's Bayou ones in Paris, as someone who loves animatronics but only can go to Disneyland Paris, I feel like we have the oldest and not so impressive ones lol
The Security Guard who has to watch the CCTVs at night is gonna have the time of his life.
I can only image how long these rides would go out of order for if anything should go wrong
I want the Jake Droid to appear in Galaxy’s Edge along with some more free-roaming animatronic droids like BB-8, R2-D2, etc.!
I’m almost 16, and the only out of my four siblings that have never been to Disney, I’ve wanted to go since I saw the avatar, yeti, and stitch animatronics; the mystery of the missing buzzy one is cool too, is it worth it? Also when I’m older I’m thinking about going into robotics, how do you go about becoming an imagineer?
I just thought of something they should make brother bears movie animatronic just imagine they would make it come to life and just unlock our old child memories again 🥹🥹🥹
You really think I'm going near those evil robots? Hell no, I've seen movies about this and they never end well. Cool video tho.
Imagine Disney going full circle from Live Action movies, to Hand-drawn Animation, to Computer Animation, all the way back around to Live Action but with Animatronics.
A fully electric animatronic?!? Whoa!
Androids of the future will have these robots in museums, while they have us in chains.
Good to know that both Disney and Boston Dynamics have ditched conventional hydraulic movements for an all-electric set up. Very much like the electric revolution happening in cars... They allow for efficient, simple design and build set ups and unlock a lot of design potential that otherwise would be quite limited if sloshing flammable liquids are at play..
