This was a very quick and thorough overview of Xero. Being an accountant already that uses QB, I feel I could head right into Xero with ease now if I need it for a client. Thank you for this great overview. Your narration was spot on as well for my comprehension.

So, I receive a check that often includes payment for multiple invoices to the same customer for different jobs. (99% of inv billed to 1 customer ) I've been using QB, which has a receive payment button, just select a customer, and then invoices for that customer and make amount changes. The check is then kept in the deposit balance until I record the deposit. I don't see how it's done in Xero. It appears to go directly into the checking account for each inv. Also, can I import my QB file into Xero? I canceled my subscription to QB because they were screwing me on price and holding me hostage to my software which has now been deactivated by them TOTAL BS! So I need a new system.

Xero doesn’t support US tax accounting as well as it does Australian. It doesn’t support US MACRS depreciation for example, which is close to but not quite identical with double declining balance.

Yeah but you don't explain anything... this is like the briefest overview ever. When you enter a bill you just skimmed over the process, you didn't teach anything, the website itself is as explanatory as this video is. There's a drop down called "item" when you enter a bill. You have to choose a number. What's the number for? What number do you put in? You just went past that super fast without explaining anything. Coooooool thanks for the help on how to use xero.

If I remember correctly that drop down relates to products / if you have saved some of the more common products you sell you could then find them in drop down list - just saves you time entering them

    Hello sorry for interrupting
But Jesus died for your sins and he wants you to be with him eternally in heaven, Jesus died for your sins and paid the penalty for your sins.
You only have to repent and accept him as your personal Savior and Lord.
    Romans 10:9
If you declare/confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your whole heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved.

@@AccountingStuff How confusing and difficult it is to navigate. Like most videos they seem to rely on a user signing into a bank account which i don't do. In other apps I can enter my expenses and income quickly and access what account to send it to. I tried the app for 2 days and still could not make a transaction. Wave and zoho are much easier. Wave is a bit limited I kinda wish I would have found zoho earlier as it has projects but now I no longer need that. I have used simply accounting and quickbooks back when you installed them.
