      Sadly the ridge wallet is pretty pointless if your currency uses a lot of coins. Not every country has bills down to like $1 and you end up with lots of coins on cash purchases, which makes using the ridge wallet even worse than an old school one

    How in the world can salt rehydrate or am I just stupid

    • @RabidWolf1966
      @RabidWolf1966 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oral rehydration therapy is a type of fluid replacement used to prevent and treat dehydration, especially due to diarrhea. It involves drinking water with modest amounts of sugar and salts, specifically sodium and potassium.

    • @rebel4466
      @rebel4466 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Something to think about: why are sweat and tears salty? Because the body flushes out minerals and all that good stuff with the fluids. Salt is important for the body to work like it should. Just too much salt is a problem.
      Got to say I'm not on the same page as Tyler. If you're close to dying from dehydration, the least you should worry about are artificial flavorings lol

  • @darkrai2007
    @darkrai2007 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Yeah that packet is basically just a load of various salts to keep your blood electrolyte level up when you have either been vomiting or sweating that causes dehydration. If you don't keep a balance of water to electrolyte you can become even more ill from just drinking pure water. So it will taste quite salty as it has no flavourings to help with the pure salt taste.

    • @thorin1045
      @thorin1045 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      And it severely depends on your sodium and other salt levels how you taste salty stuff, a normal healthy person in the winter, early spring has quite high salt levels, so even a moderately salty stuff is not good in taste, during the summer after some workout, the same drink would be nice and tasty, and after some dehydration, that sea water level salty water would be almost neutral in taste.

    Isn't there a rest you're supposed to use with that sharpness tester to place the knife on? Seems like it would just give you worse and worse results based on how heavy the knife is instead of how much pressure it took to cut if the knives aren't supported by anything.

    Going by the size and shape of the blade I'd say it is some sort of chopper. Most likely used for chopping branches, wood etc..
