Yeah when I first played as Leonidus and he threw his shield away in the first 5 mins I knew to expect anything from this game.
Was it an assassins creed game when the assassins and the Templars broke a truce in Unity? Was it an Assaasins creed game when one went rogue, ending the american assassins, and bridging blackflag, to 3? Assassins creed is about the STORY. Origins told us how the Assassins were born. But it also told us the templars (order of ancients) were EVEN MORE ANCIENT. we dont have the full picture. This story will clarify. And give us even more insight into the pieces of Eden

We know this do to the post game dlc coming for odyssey, called the first blade telling us why the assassins strike from the shadows to serve the light and such and learning more about the assassins.

But the only Concrete mention of one, was Assassin Darius whom used the Same hidden blade, that was passed too Beyak, to kill Xerxes Before Odessy, After the battle of the 300. William Legate Juno was killed in a comic book. Assassin’s creed is not about the story. It’s about the insane amount of money a franchise with annual releases can make. Story doesn’t make sense and it never did. Truth is it doesn’t even have to. All that matters is wether or not the overall game is worth buying. I just got Origins on Black Friday and I enjoyed the game for what I got. Been playing Assassin’s Creed since Ezio and I knew they were heading this direction since Unity. The new modern day protagonist doesn’t even have a personality really. She goes through sever life changing events and all she wants to do is hop in the animus. The story is bad dude. Has some good moments though. I like the new combat and perks. Assassinations seem to have taken a backseat and character customization is somehow robust and limited at the same time. Liked it better in Unity. Anyway idk why I’m writing this lol. I guess I wanted to vent idk. Torn on the direction this franchise has gone.

Worst AC cinematic trailer...
This voiceover sounds like someone they randomly chose in a grocery store aisle. The visuals and other audio are spot-on. The voiceover sounds like an ambulance-chasing law firm’s ad. “Have you eaten Tumms in the last 20 years? You may be entitled to a settlement!”

If we're not allowed to complain until it's released, you're not allowed to compliment it until it's released. Goes both ways. Either you can't judge it, for good or bad, based on what we've seen, or you can judge it based on the trailers and footage that have been released for the purpose of judgement.

Its cutscenes. Cinematic trailer are absolutely high quality original animations that feature no clips from the games. Watch some actual cinematic AC trailers and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

It would appear they chose to make her canon after the fact. It’s no secret that Alexios is plastered all over their merchandising (be it the game covers, in game trailers, etc.) and it would be crazy to think they pulled some back door bs in order to establish Kassandra as the main character. That’d be an interesting thing if that’s indeed what happened lol! And if the argument is because “Ubisoft feared sales wouldn’t be up with a female lead character” that sounds like a personal problem and one which is not steeped in reality.
It was also kinda shady how the novelization came out “after the fact” as if it was an attempt from outside forces to clean up the “perceived mess” of fan leaning towards Alexios as the main protagonist. In this modern culture we live in...there is no way Alexios could be canon because the “vocal minority” would come out screaming bloody murder. Fun fact: 2 out of 3 Assaisn’s Creed Odyssey players choose Alexios as the main character.
I have played the game now with both characters and I think it is better suited with Alexios as canon both from a historical and gameplay perspective. The legendary “eagle bearer” and Spartan would certainly fit a male profile historically (here come the SJW’s) as that is how things were back then. That’s not just my “personal biases” talking. The Assassin’s Creed franchise has been pretty good about keeping to historical truths whilst entwining it’s own lore throughout. But....we are living in interesting times these days so it’s no surprise they went the route they did.
From a gameplay point of view...the Deimos outfit looks kinda ridiculous on Alexios anyway when you play as Kassandra whereas she fits that particular armor design much better. Also; in the scene where Kassandra and Myrinne hug after first seeing each other again on Mykonos, Myrinne’s hands/arms don’t even touch Kassandra at all as it was obvious Alexios (with the bigger frame) was edited out and Kassandra replaced. That was lazy editing to say the least but...that’s neither here nor there I guess. I feel like Alexios was indeed default to the game originally but they decided to change who was canon as the gaming world as of late has been heavily influenced by recent social trends. People will probably call me sexist for this rant but what I’ve mentioned isn’t because I’m a male who hates women (people will say that of course) as I played Kassandra and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I just wanted to lay out my feelings and thoughts as to the “who is canon and who isn’t” issue. God bless!

Überladen mit unnötigen side quests. Meistens schicken dich side quests zu orten die du schon abgeschlossen hast nur um fast alles noch mal zu machen für die side quest.
Sinnlose side quests.
Personen gibt es circa 5 alle sehen gleich aus nur mit anderen Frisuren wovon es auch nur circa 6 Stück gibt.
Selbst besondere Charakter sehen genauso aus wie gewöhnlich nur in anderen Klamotten.
Die Stimmen der bots sind auch kaum unterschiedlich. Also circa 5 verschiedene.
Die meisten Entscheidungen sind egal weil du die selben Informationen erhälst. Entscheidet nur wer überlebt meistens. Die Story endet bevor die andere Hälfte der Story vorbei ist. Sehr unlogisch.
Gute Grafik. Coole Orte aber es gibt lediglich 5 verschiedene Arten von orten also sehr eintöniges sammeln, klauen und töten.
Kein Vergleich zu origins.

There's only one Hidden Blade in existence at the time and that's Darius' blade, the same one that was eventually passed down to Bayek in Origins. Even so, Darius' blade is different from the traditional Hidden Blade we know. Alexios/Kassandra will meet Darius in a DLC expansion around December. In the game, Alexios/Kassandra's "Hidden Blade" is the Spear of Leonidas which is also a Piece of Eden which explains some of the otherworldly abilities in the game.
Nice tradeoff if you ask me.
