Agreed. 911s have the interior that feels even more upscale than some GT cars (especially the newest 991). Sitting in a GTR (which I have done) feels like sitting in a 370z with some leather and technology, but sitting in a 911, you get the feeling that it's truly exclusive; it's VERY expensive and feels like it.
That's a SE-R. I love the 911, but the GT-R (previously known as the Skyline) is a force to be reckon with. The GT-R gives even the 911 Turbo a run for it's money.
Hmmm, I like it, but I wonder if you can purchase it without different colors on the wing, mirrors and engine vents. I believe it would look better all one color.
not true, not had a single fault on all 3 Porsches I owned, The Z (350) had the drivers window motor fail and the VDC button fell inside the dashboard. Pretty good other than that.
I love these Porsches but the problem is by just adding a turbo on my S2000, I will have more power up tp 320 on the ground with stock engine, less weight and as good weight distribution and LSD for about 1/3 or 1/4th the price
@BlueAvenue22 The Cayman R feels underpowered in a straight line, is uncomfortable with the bucket seats and feels cramped for tall drivers. No aircon means that you fry with the engine right behind you in the summer. So it's not perfect.. I still love it but I can pay off my mortgage with the money to buy one new.
new boxster now looks sexier and has road presence unlike the gtr with poor visibility and shitty performance check audi a1 vs nissan gtr track pack from autocar lol
Dozens out of how many? Hundreds of thousands? Yeah, that's what I thought. Porsches have a reputation for breaking down and needing to be serviced unfortunately, that's why they're never on top of a single quality report from any reporting agency. But maybe you don't live in reality like the rest of us and that's why you think Porsches are "good quality". And of course you said "in every way", when in reality you could only name a single way, and even that was wrong. Nicely done.
The nissan surpasses the porsche in quality, especially build quality and parts quality. The reliability is unmatched and you don't have to worry about small things like you do in the porsche, like windows going up and down (electric motors go bad in that car all the time, and then some). Not mentioning the huge price difference.
In what way is the Cayman better than the GT-R? It's not handling or power, or speed, or acceleration, or launch, or anything. The Cayman does the 1/4 mile in 13.4, the GT-R does it in 10.9. *sad trombone*
@highlyporsche yea some overhyped pos datsun with aftermarket bodykit tuned by joe shmoe for couple of runs before it shits itself and the motor goes kawaBANGfuckingshit i'm toast
I'm sorry, but paying $15,000 to take out the radio, airconditioning, seats and doorhandles just to add a meager 10 hp? Maybe a Lotus Evora is better choice, unless people want the Porsche badge.
youtube has been invaded by GTR fans who insist on brainwashing the rest of us into worshipping the GTR like they do. Can't you just leave us alone and let us enjoy the cars WE like? Why *must* you convince us?
I wouldn't call a car as fast as that and hard hitting a turd. I think that's a bit of a stretch but it still isn't as good looking as it performs. No manual transmission in my eyes =fail.
you want one ? how about quality lololololol the datsun falls apart in less than a year and we've seen dozens of broken gtrs tranny and overheating issues let alone the poor interior quality which shares the same materials from a sentra and altima riceboy hahahahahahahahahaha
when they do head on shots it looks like a Carerra GT..... it gives me chills...... PORSCHE FOR LIFE

How beautiful it is !!!!
LOVE PORSCHE``
A killer at a killer price, a one-hit wonder though it seems not a game changing mainstay.
Still worth the money they were Shen they were new 🤷🏼♂️
Nice helmet Ben!
GT-R turns pretty damn well too.
Nice troll attempt :P 'This guy is amazing!' xD
Hmmm, I like it, but I wonder if you can purchase it without different colors on the wing, mirrors and engine vents. I believe it would look better all one color.
You are joking right? This guy is amazing.

this car looks so amazing, why does it have to be so expensive
@highlyporsche A GTR is something that beats most other fast cars for a fraction of their cost.
Probably but neither of us could say which one handles better.
And yet you can't name one single way in which it's better. Thanks for playing, don't forget your door prize on the way out.
im buying this car in 2014 hopefully..
yes
You will also have a cardboard interior compared to a Porsche, get yourself down to a Porsche Centre and drive one. Big difference.

a Datsun :)

please stop shouting at us - are they all hard of hearing?
Give him a break. He’s a legend. And 70+ years old.

Maybe in a straight line, but speed isn't everything.
lol im not going to buy it no more , my eyes are set at the shelby gt500
2012 GT-R would beat this Porsche though.
BILL CLINTON?
you replied to yourself lol..

not in quality and excitement it doesn't.
gtr is every fanboys greatest gay car ever built
man the commentators voice is irritating
porsche is slacking, , i sat in the seats, crap, porsche is like on a kia budget, no thanks, save your cash, 2013 is where it is at,
Cayman R > datsun gtr
I would take the cayman s over this
@nakayama3d Bugatti is the gayest. GTR is a fast car. Faster than muscle cars which are made to go in a straight line.
you want one ? how about quality lololololol
the datsun falls apart in less than a year and we've seen dozens of broken gtrs tranny and overheating issues let alone the poor interior quality which shares the same materials from a sentra and altima riceboy hahahahahahahahahaha
gtr is too ugly and overhyped, the damn thing keeps on overheating and asks you to pullover for cooldowns
nissan = failed
it can do 12.8 1/4 mile with pdk...manual sucks
@nakayama3d GTR is butt ugly.
your mother
you fail
fail
Heh, suckers. I bought my Porsche Cayman R for 15 grand. Never buy these things new unless you're rich, the depreciation is horrid on a Porsche.
that's untrue. porsches have the least depreciation of all mainstream luxury cars.
Gtr sucks
