Thanks Eric for another great video. Pretty cool seeing what you guys do on the computer to prepare for a flight. I’m curious on a layover like that do you usually fly the same plane the next day? Like did you fly the same one back to Seattle? Yes for myself I moved here to Washington State back in Jan. 2002 from Buena Park California where I grew up the rain gets pretty old. But I sure got sick of the smog in the LA area which Buena Park is by. Couldn’t take a deep breath down there without my chest hurting. Up her never had that problem.
It’s incredible how much these airplanes are flown. They very rarely sit idle. When we landed, that plane immediately flew back to Seattle with a different crew. It’s crazy! They never stop! Planes don’t make money sitting on the ground. Glad you enjoyed it 🤙
@@JollyRogerAviation wow that’s unreal. I had 6 uncles that worked at Boeing for 40 years plus back in the day. My one funny and favorite uncle John worked in a department where they tested how much abuse wings could take before they failed. Like I think they would attach a wing in the lab to something then put pressure on say the very tip of the wing and see how far they would safely move up or down without damage , and then she how far they could bend it where it failed and did not go back to its normal place. He passed away at 96 in 2012 and he never would fly in any plane ever and he saw first hand the incredible amount of abuse those wings could take. He did have to fly during World War II when he stationed in Europe, but not many times and was he said he was terrified. Then got home after the war and went to work for Boeings and refused to fly in anything. He said he could have flown a bunch of times on planes they finished building at Boeings that test pilots I imagine would the planes up on their first few test flights, but he never would go up. Sure miss him.
Eric, diesel in the Nashville area around $3.30 a gallon. West coast fuel prices are always few dollars more expensive than what we pay around here with doesn't seem fair for you guys.
Oh Eric , pod coffee ! Thats terrible mate. Come down to Australia , we grow best freshest coffee , and we drink it extracted in expresso , and or milk based expresso, ie; flat white/ cappuccino. We have to teach the americans to enjoy next level coffee
