What was wrong with dedicated buttons why are truck and car manufacturers insisting on putting big screens in everything. They are just dangerous to use on twisty country roads compared to actual buttons!!!!
Don't wish too hard, you may get what you wish for! Had mine a week, Sat nav never worked from new, no drivers hours displayed, no odometer, can't turn lights off when engine on, should never of been allowed out of the factory.
That could change eventually, maybe. Traton group bought out Navistar(International Truck) in summer of 2021. New 2024 International LT and HX have the new Scania S13 and 14 SPD transmission as standard moving forward.(only diesel engine in North America with no EGR far as I know) Apparently they've also been testing Scania cabovers here in USA and Canada to. So who know, if Scania taps into the Navistar Dealer and Maintenance network, they could debut here before long. Few insiders I've chatted with said possibly as early as 2025. I haul glass and I'd be quite interested in buying one if they do plan on re-entering our market. Not sure if they'd bring their V8 over or not, but the S13 is already here and compliant with regulations. Be fine for me as hauling glass you need the truck and trailer to be fairly light in combo. Some of my heavier loads have been 48,000 lbs or more of glass. Plus the short wheelbase would be beneficial backing into a fair few of the urban customers I deliver to. Certainly be worthwhile to keep an ear out on the news in trucking/transportation segment.
Which next Level? DAF has it since two years and a war bigger and better cabin for Llving. Mercedes, MAN, Renault and Volvo are digital, too. Scania is, as always, behind. Engines, gearbox... Volvo. Props gos to the Scania Marketing for making their products"special" for the people without beeing benchmark in anything.
My new 2024 R 650 is arriving in the next few weeks I’m very excited I currently drive a 2017 R620 with 1.1 million km on it. These are the best trucks on the road in my humble opinion
Indeed Scania is by far the most luxurious, Powerful & attractive truck ever built by a human! But my question is, why don't they make it have a wider sleeper & bring it to the United States? Because all the trucks we have here are not convenient & attractive at all! I have driven all of them but they are all trash!! I Only like the trailers here, especially, the new Utility reefer trailer & Fruehouf dry van are the best!!

It’s so stupid I might as well go into a Mercedes and put a bmw logo on it. And why do we have to digitalise everything like. If you take a look at the scania 5-series to the 6-series in the interior you would see that they made the screen smaller. I hope for the better of humanity that people won’t be using the screen while driving.
yes scania front panel tech is very driver friendly desing and at this point i wish they could copycat volvo confort interior desing and just make and incredible cab
Drove one for the fisrt time today. So many software issues it's ridiculous. A lot of driver menus missing. I think Scania have really dropped a bollock with this one.
Doesn't work with Scottish and Irish accents...give me knobs to turn, that I can find in the dark while my eyes are on the road...it's not a video game, distractions kill!
I’am happy I’am not on the road anymore, it looks nice but got nothing with a real truck to do! You don’t need to have qualifications to drive a lorry nowadays, but if a system failed the most so called truckers have hands in de hair!

Spending so many hours on the road i wish every truck driver would get opportunity to drive this. The truck should be their home essentially.
