Mel is a rockstar….I’m so grateful to have you in my life Mail…!!
Synchronicity 🎉 😢I just started working on trauma from early childhood, that is coming up this weekend. Thanks 🙏
So I couldn't figure out who the second to the last speaker was her name is but I figured it out so I thought I would share it is Gabrielle Bernstein she says the name of one of her book while she's talking to Mel. I guess I had to do a little detective work but it was worth it. What she says to Mel and what she walks her through talking to her anxiety really resonated with me and I'd like to hear more about what she has to say 👍
Thank you for sharing. I paused after her section to go to the transcript to look for her name or book and couldn’t find them. So glad that I looked here. Thank you so much for sharing. Her section also resonated with me so much and I actually cried when Mel said she felt lonely. I moved from Malaysia to the Us for school and have been here without my own family for the last 30 years and now only I realized how lonely I have been feeling. And I was shocked when she said on average people cracked when they are in their 50s and that’s me and I couldn’t figure out why now. Now I know!!!! ❤
58:09 - Gabby and Mel are just my favorite Dynamic Duo. Thank you 🙏🏽 ❤ for all of the spiritual gifts you both give to me.
I’m planning 😅
Still listening-while I’ve gone through a few of these lessons about 3-yrs ago-it’s great to refresh. Wish you had more males on-divorce highly affects males-that’s the reason I began listening and learned the importance of self care. Actually Tony Robbins had some great clips about this but the way you put it comes off as-more human to me. Thank you Thank you Thank you Sharing these clips!
Fantastic. No wonder not one psychologist understood how to show up in the conversation. They haven't been concidering the unconscious mind. Their own. Let alone mine. So helpful. Thank you. Rocking it Mel and friends! XOX
Or they haven't been respecting the unconscious role in their work. There was always a power struggle no matter how i layed out a dynamic to soften, and bring grace, they always fought for their limitations. Which meant they brought their unconscious to the table instead of their whole self. It was such a struggle for me to let go of my search for support and keep learning to trust my self.
Mel, you’re awesome! Thank you for sharing these tools. May God bless you to continue to help humans like me❤🙏💯
I’m also tired of feeling alone. DNMS(developmental needs meeting strategy)therapy has helped in my healing thanks for showing up for yourself and sharing your vulnerability and courage! 🤗
Excellent class
Mel is incredible! 💜
I need to listen to this and definitely grab these tips. This is something I was just doing last night and I had to explain what self-care was. And this is like it goes even deeper thank you
Same happened to me yesterday. Today I scheduled therapy to tackle it.
Thanks!
I relate. I’m working through trauma from the past using EMDR. Not an easy journey but necessary
Thank you Mel.
I've heard that a lot but still can't understand it that people are always eager to look at the past bad things.
I got C-PTSD myself but i've never looked through a black and white mirror...
Actually it is easier to remember the good things instead of the bad things.
Maybe it is because I've never been focused on bad things, but it is interesting that this is not the same for everyone, far from.
Timely thanks mel
Thank you, Mel. I had to buy the audible.
Thank you! ❤
I had a string of these that added up to my life until 3 years ago. It finally manifested physically in 2008.
Im safe now but all the stuffed feelings have bubbled up.oh good grief. 🙄☺️🤟🏼
There'a a channel I've been obssessed with lately called "Heidi Priebe" whose content revolves around attachment styles and healing. It's really helped me!
Mel... You are just AWESOME 🙌🥳 Only found you a coupla months ago... But you Resonate with me BIG TIME 😁🤩 Have been applying several of your methods already... But THIS vid is just sooo spot on 💪 Keep on Keeping It Real my lovely 😎 🤗 Big Love, Purple Hugs and Crystal Blessings from Essex, UK 🙏🥰🇬🇧 xxx 😘💜
What is Gabbys book called? Anyone???
I love this. Spoke to my life experience
I listened and as I was walking I asked my 7 Y.O. me who was being cut up with knives beaten and verbally abused to join me. I used her name. (each person I lived with changed my name.) I was not sure if I was doing the right thing. I started to cry. I told her "There are no knives here", I told her to pat the dogs. As a child when I attached to a dog they would have it put down. They broke my canary's neck. By now I was sobbing as I tried to reach in and find that sad child. I am in my 60s now, sad and alone. Trying some of your things. Most days I think I am beyond help. I wonder if I am on the right track?
Thank you for this. Maybe you can find another word to describe the overused (by everyone)"Unpack" term.
Question- How do you face the trauma of what is going on in the world while simultaneously trying to heal from the trauma from the past? I avoid the news like the plague but I still feel the need to know what is going on in these trying times. 💔
I live in Saranac Lake Ny...right across from VT. I also moved to a small town...is there any thought of you talking in VT? If so, I would b interested in the opportunity to attend 😊
28.50 tears.
