I'm totally into gp4 and haven't played gp2 in 4 years but it's amazing to see this kind of development. The combination of this mod, your track and the new scaling gives a near perfect 80's feeling. Great video Michael!
Ted Meat and Gplaps already experimented with Lossless Scaling. I don't think it is too complicated to implement this into dosbox. Imagine how your videos will improve with this program!
Looks great. I suppose I'll have to try it with DOSBox Scaling, didn't get this smooth with ECE. How do you feel the steering lag? With IndyCar Racing 2 I felt some latency, so I opted not to use Lossless Scaling with ICR2 for now. Don't know about GP2 yet.
@@TedMeatYes it is really good just some little deformations sometimes but really playable. I haven't try ICR2 with dosbox staging for now but with ECE it is the same. If you want I will send the configuration file of dosbox staging. There are an option where you can change the "dos rate". I fixed that to 25.6 and then it was perfect with lossless scaling. It recognizes and fixes the game at 51 fps.
@MichaelR82 Thanks, I'll have to try it out! You can send the config file if it's no trouble for you. You can find my contact info in my video descriptions (TH-cam doesn't let me put it into a comment).
Thanks! You can find it here: grandprix2.de/gp2forum/download/file.php?id=2703 It is the 1986 version but it is the same layout without adverts. I will make it one day..
@@MichaelR82 Looking at the chicane at 00:52 I think this the 1982 version not that of 1986. Have you released that as well? Nice video and interesting feature thanks for finding it
It's so nice to see GP2 running like this, especially in Monaco, which is the most graphically demanding track in the game.
Saudades do FGP2. Do Pedro, Olivio, Eduardo e os demais meninos que jogavam conosco 😢

@@TedMeat I opened a new topic on gp2forum with the config file. You can find the link in my video description. Let me know if it works for you.
Great! Please convert this track to the 1994 Season!! I really like your tracks very much :)

@@Franco-q4g Yes it is the "until 1985" layout version but I haven't release it for now. Thanks!
