@@magicmulder Nice! I had a humble 486 SX33, hopeless. I remember i bought the game after checking the specs on the box and that was a bit misleading i found out. ;-) I did play it later on, at a friends place. We did a lof of multiplayer with the switch seat option, we loved it.
@@Fastbikkel I loved how the game allowed to tweak the computer drivers until the challenge was just about right. Other F1 games are either too easy or too hard and nothing in between. In no other game did I ever drive a full season at full race length. And even if sometimes an accident in the final lap ruined a race, it was still the best experience.
Does anyone know how to steer in this game on keyboard? I downloaded the game but the left and right arrow keys only change POV of the next racer, ive looked at all control menus and nothing to see what is for steering? Also running the game on the DOX seems to be very slow and not as smooth as when i remember playing it 25 years ago. My current PC is handled for gaming, so not sure what to check/doing wrong, thankyou!!

The suspension setup îs a bit hard,after bus stațion,în the lăst corner my advice îs țo reduce the gas,or suspension Whith one step light,more fast bound,more fast rebound,,And no packers,,,,the gest a Little short,And 1,2 step gear more long,3,And 4 are ok

One of the greatest games ever. GP2 Mod kept that so relevant. I was still playing in 2001.

That was not Hakkinen, but Brundle. In some races he started from the middle-back of the grid. It is common it happens.

Ratimiaou Grand Prix 3 & 4?
Yes for wet races, graphics and AI but not for the handling. And with gp2 it is a lot easier to manage a track and cars as you want.

Man i found this a blast. Too bad you had to have a friggin powerful pc at the time to run this well.
I had a Pentium Pro 200 overclocked to 233 MHz and it ran just about fine. Only game that ever pushed that CPU to its limits.

Use . , To steer and a to accelerate, and z to brake.
how do you get this graphics? when i play grand prix 2 on DOS aren't better than this. GREAT VIDEO!!

Yes! you must install dosbox 0.74 on Winxp until win10. There are lot of mods and stuff on grandprix2.de.
