Very well explained. I'm not even really interested in bikes, but the engineering and reasoning was very informative about why bikes are designed as they are.
Here’s one 10 years ago.? I wonder where all these people are at now. I feel like I’m on here by myself. Trying to learn how to build a frame. Anybody home.
I have not yet watch all the videos on this subject that touch have made. It is my intention to do so! I love to build a v8 trike with with a 350 chevy. In florida I most start from an existing frame that have have a Vin if I want it to be street legal. So I understand(?). What motorcycle neck do you recommend to handle the wight?
triple tree trails look bad for braking and also for steering. the weight of the bike pushing down on the front bottom of the tyre is reduced. Still same grip area but less downforce due to the body weight sitting behind the fork base.. Be interesting to see two bikes side by side one with a triple and one with a standard trail doing speed braking tests.. What do you guys think?
I do not envisage the opportunity to comment on a four Y.O. video but.... Around minute 5:40 you say: "It's possible to end up with a negative trail, where the wheel axys is behind the steering axys" That's the condition that gives you a positive trail, if I am not wrong. Thanks for the otherwise informative video.

Thanks for these excellent videos. I'd love to keep learning from you guys!
Y’all are AWESOME thanks!
Very nice I loves how you explain please speak slow and pointing the areas where you believe there is more details to learn
Thanks for letting us know. We appreciate it. And we are glad you like it!
Thank you! Your comments inspire us to do more :-)
This is gold. thanks very much CC guide.
this is great info for a new builder of bikes. thanks alot
Hi,
at c5 mins in you compare sports bike and cruiser steering geometry and give the rake in inches, where I think you probably mean degrees!
very handy video.well explained.
thank you.
Very useful information för a "firstime" builder.. thanks!
thanx bro! this info in video is very useful and very helpful

great vids...both 1 and 2... thanks
Great!
Thaks for all these usefull informations!
And I can confirm that a too big trail is hard to handle at low speed :-D

What is the best type of tubing?

Dang I just realized all of this was eight years ago imagine technology has changed huh.
what is the tube size for the frame please
"1.125 or "1 1/8 is typical with I believe a 1/4 inch wall.
Oops I said it backwards.. It's typically "1.25 or "1 1/4 OD and an "1/8 wall. DOM tubing btw not just any old tubing
