Your photography is beyond excellent and your drone footage tells a unique story about Australia which I have never heard. Such an amazing countryside. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for bringing back so many memories. You have given me itchy feet. It is great travelling with mates, but when you are on your own you feel so much more. Love your work.
Well l am all over the place, didn't subscribe your around Australia trip but went to your trip through NSW and decided to subscribe. I had given you likes on day 1&2 this trip. So now that is why l catching up from day 3😂 onwards lol.
Its been of my favourite parts of watching back the video, its kind of addictive. Worst part of the drone is I always think its the last time I'll ever see it when I launch it, especially out over the ocean, but so far its always come back.
Firstly what absolutely amazing video work ...your photos were amazing and I have to say your humor has me smiling.. I so appreciate your efforts. Looking forward to seeing your next video. 😀
I got to the big towers in 1967, 23 years old at the time with a shearing team. Phoned my parents in Victoria courtesy of the station owner. It was amazing- press button on an old fashioned phone to talk. Do not think I need to revisit that bit of my youth. Enjoying your trip!
I wonder if that diesel generator at Pardoo survived Cyclone Ilsa - 'cause the roadhouse sure didn't! I'm living my motorcycle dream vicariously through these videos. Cheers.
I love your adventure sir.. How I wish i can apply for work in australia and experience these things.. it really life appreciating.. God bless and more adventure..
Your drone stuff is the 'Ducks Guts' cobber. Hmmm yep I have those "Bit of a gap there not sure what I was thinking moment's" they seem to be getting more frequent as age encroaches. Edit ahhh more Pardoo sarcasm brilliant you've got the Laconic Ocker nailed, bravo good sir.
I'm late to this party but enjoying the trip. Many good comments on the drone footage and i would agree. I did have a question about the little Fodsport unit. Any issues with it loosing power at the rear sprung pins on this longish journey?
Good on ya mate, great trip. I am enjoying watching however, you have convinced me that I never want to do a trip like that on my VStrom. Miles and miles of bloody nothing. I also watch Steve from mongrel dog productions , he does the most horrendous trips into central Australia and he enjoys every minute of the dust, the heat, the flies and the nothingness I understand the concept that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that country is not my idea of fun.. I’m having fun watching you suffer through.
@@jamesneeson5692 Given that this was two years ago we might have a problem with that! In more recent videos I talk about the VFR a bit particularly in the videos where I work on it. To summarise, it’s a great bike on the bitumen, it’s a handful on the dirt, and the Honda V4 is the best engine currently in existence. Ohh, and it’s without doubt the best touring bike I’ve ever owned. I am however now selling it!
About to do across Australia bought a VFR800X Cross country for the trip, Newcastle via Broken Hill then down to the nullabor across to Mandurah back via Kalgoorlie across to the coast back up the Great ocean road then up through the Mt Kosciousko national park. Two things was looking at seat padding anything you would advise? and any other tips?
Sounds like an amazing trip. I used an Airhawk seat pad and they are worth their weight in gold in my opinion. Other advise would take as little stuff as possible and pack the weight as low as possible. Other than that, just get out there and have fun.
Thanks for taking your time to take some amazing photos, content and sharing them with us , your humour is brilliant. I am in the process of organising my adventure around oz. keep up the good work . and how's Pete on his BMW ? cheers Bucky from Mt Gambier.
Pete is going fine again. Going up to see him tomorrow actually for a quick ride. Mt Gambier is a great place and will be in an upcoming episode. I love the sinkholes in the middle of town!
It came with the bike and to be honest it's worked fine getting me through the cities. It did take me a rather funny way from Wallaroo to Burra, adding about 140k's to the ride but I saw some nice scenery so not a bad thing on that occasion.
What an amazing trip!!! Shame that Pete wasn't able to continue... Loved all three of the episodes I've watched so far. Looking forward to the rest. Subscribed! Out of curiosity, what time of the year did you do the trip?

Thanks for your slightly bewildering comment. Glad you enjoyed the videos but sorry to say the closest I’ve been to a grammar school is driving past. Proud Queensland regional state school graduate with the scars to prove it!
If you think Broome was expensive when you were there, it's just as well you didn't try during the peak of the covid era. The locals charge without conscience any time but during covid they absolutely milked it rto the max. I only go into Broome to re-provision and then get the hell out of it. Better to accomodate at Roebuck Plains and drive in on a daily basis. Barn Hill is a better stop than Pardoo, you can walk down to the beach whereas at Pardoo you have a drive. $78 for a tent site in Exmouth is quite simply extortion/theft. That cannot be justified other than pure greed.
I guess it’s “The Market”. If everything is full then the solution appears to be keep raising the price until people stop paying then turn it down a notch.

Cheers sir. I appreciate the compliment.
Thanks Steve. I'm enjoying the sardonic wit as well as your photos...
Sardonic is a good word. I'm going to start using it more. Thanks for watching.
Your a funny guy ,I like your sense of humour. Well done with your video.
Fabulous videos. Well done.
Great footage and commentary
Thank you for bringing back so many memories. You have given me itchy feet. It is great travelling with mates, but when you are on your own you feel so much more. Love your work.
There are pros and cons for both. In the end I chose to continue on alone and I enjoyed it but I did miss Pete’s company.

It's not until you've arrived there by road that you realise how utterly far away from everything else you really are.
Been to Coral Bay but didn't go to Exmouth, so drone footage is great.
@@graemeashton1917 Exmouth is an incredibly beautiful place but quite a trip to get there
Thank you for taking the effort share 👍👍
Love the Pilbara - spent 4 years doing projects around Port Hedland and Newman
It’s a remarkable landscape no doubt.
Great videos, really enjoy your photography work also. 👌🏻📸
Glad you liked the videos and the photos. I took far too much photography gear with me but it was probably worth it.
did this trip June last year and brought back lots of memories for me. Nice drone footage and great Vlog....cheers
Happy to hear you enjoyed watching and trust your trip went well.
@@abitofadetour7315 The trip was great until we hit Kalbarrie from then on it rained all the way back to Brisbane....kinda puts the dampner on things

I reckon it’s still keeping people awake, but a terrible shame what happened to them at Pardoo.

That brown thing next to you at the lake is a termite mound….
Australia looks beautiful, big skies for sure. What's the food like? I'm guessing this wasn't a gastronomic tour 😀Plenty of fish near the coast?
It was not a foodies tour, but I had some excellent food from time to time and also lots of Stagg Chilli!
Great videos. Can you maybe talk about your bike a little more? Interested to see/ hear your thoughts.

It’s true! Everything is better in WA. I can see why you raved about the Kimberly’s.
WA is an amazing place, its a shame more people don't get over there.
What is your fuel economy like on the 1200 crossrunner. I have the 800 and is pretty terrible.
It gets about 350-380 km's out of a tank which is 20 litres. So, about 5.5-6 litres/100km's. Not bad all things considered.
How do you rate the Fodsport GPS?. Is it the 5" version?. Cheers.
