- This video is about 8 minutes out of one of my days earlier this year. As explained in the video, I was preparing for the IGCSE which is why I went to school that early and left that late. The hard work did pay off, because most of us got Distinctions!
This video was just made for fun, but then hopefully it can give insight to anyone who is curious to know about the daily life of someone in another part of the world from them.
There may be more videos like this in the future, because I had a lot of fun making this, and a lot of support from my friends

Thanks alot for making this video. We got an essay in our English class to compare a English speaking countrys school to Swedish schools. I used this video to make the essay, and i got an A. Which is the highest grade. Thanks from a 14 year old boy from Sweden!

I am an African American looking to relocate to Ghana and was just wondering what school life is like (for my grandchildren) and this video has made me feel very secure in the possibility of them coming for a school year or two. I loved it! I went to boarding school in Ghana as well but we had to cut our hair. I went to Achimota and Tema Datus. I think you should film more vlogs of daily life in Ghana in general like hanging with friend/family or running errands like going to the mall. 😀

Depending on the school it can be an amazing experience! I personally loved it because mine was small and everyone treated each other like sisters and there was no bullying, but other people have opposite experiences

Kgirlol depends on the school you are going to, if its a private school and also an international school then you can enjoy all that, but if its a public school, its not allowed unless you hide it.
Kgirlol phones aren't allowed in my school (it's a private school) but then tablets and laptops are allowed and you can pretty much text and call with those)

Lea Cernikova lashing is no longer allowed in Ghanaian schools, but discipline is still very strong in our schools. We’re expected to follow every single rule because the slightest deviation has its own punishment.

Lea Cernikova Sorry for the late reply: we still kneel down, etc, and there are other punishment like washing dishes, and other chores. I don’t remember the last time I got punished so I don’t remember 😂 but kneeling down is the most common. I’ll be making an updated version of this video in a few months.
Very strich. You get beat when you go wrong. But its a bit ok in private school depending on how popular and expensive the school is. Expensive school have more resources and its less Strick but ghanaian culture still play big role in all of our school.
