That's good guys, sometimes travel like the locals and have fun, more fun in the Philippines if you take your time. Easy and save you more pocket money, just be patienced and be careful.
I plan on going to Siargao next time I go back to Cebu and I think I might be tempted to travel this way, it looks okay. I usually fly most places or take the fast ferries but maybe it's time for a change. I enjoyed the video guys so well done to you both. Take care and have more fun in the Philippines.
Take the 2GO Shipping Lines and try to get a business class, you get your own private room with your own private shower and washroom and plus all the other hotel amenities. It's just a little bit cheaper rates than a plane, but you get a nice hotel-quality room and 3 free meals. Also, you really don't want to leave your bags outside like that in the general area unattended, so a private room is better if you have luggage.
When in the Marine and doin a cruise to the Med or Caribbean nobody wanted the bottom rack because after a nights Liberty the vomit from the higher bunks came showering down

The ferries are definitely nice to take! We actually ended up flying from Surigao City back to Cebu though because it ended up being cheaper!

Ship riding in the RP is fun. Took my fist one in 72 from Tacloban to Manila. Got drunk drinking with the Captain & crew. Good times.
