I cried watching this video. I’ve been following you for a while and I love your videos, but this one hit “the spot”. I have 5 kids, ages from 6-13, and my husband works a lot. I’ve been drowning at home for over a decade. Over the past few weeks, my phone has “photo memories from years prior” and apparently every year mid-June I take photos of the overwhelming clutter that overtakes our home the first week the kids are home from school, and I just break down. But I take photos, and vow this will be the LAST time, and I’ll have before/after photos to celebrate. This week showed me year, after year, a decade plus, of photos of a cluttered home. 😭 So I started rewatching your videos but I always stopped - “gotta get these stains out, can’t waste a shirt”, “can’t throw these away”, “someone could use these somewhere”, “what if we have guests that need these”… etc. I felt defeated and really depressed today and was excited to see I missed a video you posted. And I cried, hearing (and realizing it’s true), that I CAN run my house how I want, throw things away, keep minimal inventory, not need 5000 craft items, books, toys, just because I have 5 kids. I can buy things later we’ll need down the road and not have to store them right now. I don’t know why, but what you said hit home in so many ways of things I guilt myself into doing because “other people do” or “society trained us this is what we do”. What a message. This is so freeing. Thank you. 🥲❤️

I love the curtain! But even if I didn’t… It blows my mind that people would feel the need to share that with you. Obviously everybody has their own unique taste 😂. You do you, it keeps encouraging others to do the same
Came here to say that in Australia we use eucalyptus oil for colds to clear airways really effectively. Dawn, I've never understood why people do laundry stripping in a bathtub. Lots of mess and time consuming. All you need to do is add all your clothes and the ingredients to your washer, let it agitate for a few minutes, turn it off and let it soak. If you want you can come back a few times and let it agitate a few more minutes. I let my laundry soak for about an hour and then let it finish out the cycle...boom!...clean laundry and no mess or hauling dripping wet clothes from the bathtub to the washer.
I think they do it for the visual of the dirty water. Like that really worked! 😂😂. But I absolutely agree! Use that soak function on the washer! Save the hassle!
I really love that you include color in your home. While neutral minimalist shades are pretty, I love that colors and patterns bring warmth and coziness into a home. 😊
Eucalyptus oil is amazing for removing sticky residue from stickers or labels or price tags, and leaving a clean fragrance when cleaning (but I am an Aussie) I use it all the time!
Agreed! ( but I'm another Aussie 😂) we use Eucalyptus oil every couple of weeks to remove sticky residue, we buy it by the 200ml bottle! But it doesn't live with the clothes washing- it's a cleaning product 😉
Another Aussie here 🇦🇺 I add a few drops of Eucalyptus oil in laundry loads. Makes laundry smells nice and has antibacterial properties too for clothes and washing machine. I also use it to make my own DIY all purpose cleaner 🌷😃
@@sand7269 milk is good for removing ink marks too. I'll have to give eucalyptus oil a go on pen marks too. Goodness knows, I can't imagine what I'd do without eucalyptus oil... another Aussie here.
Love seeing this. I want my own washer so bad. We have a communal washing room and it’s fine but I’d love to do one load a day. Here in Sweden there’s a rental service for kids’ outerwear. They have all the best Scandinavian brands and all sizes. When you’re done with it you send it back unwashed and they wash it, mend it if needed, and rent it out to someone else. It adds up to costing about as much as buying new so money wise it isn’t amazing, but the feeling when you put those bulky, muddy items in a bag and just send it back is absolutely PRICELESS. I buy everything else second hand, but renting outerwear is just so so so convenient. If my kids outgrow something I can change it for free, too.
Your comments about "bandwidth" always resonate - akin to the 4 burner idea. My house has to be super simple. With two full-time working parents and three young children, I am full out of bandwidth most evenings. Our house is also really small for our family size. But it's getting "bigger" the more I declutter. I can now have my living room and kids' room picked up in less than 5 mins. Win!
I've been watching your videos where hubby(King of hoarding and dumping) can hear them and de cluttering my own things. This week he cleaned out his work shed and this weekend he has suggested that we declutter the whole house and garden sheds. Which I totally am taking him up on. It's an easy win because a lot of the items are not even ours they're from the previous owner over 6 years ago. The system is working. I'm totally filling up the garage shelves with empty boxes with fake boring lables so he doesn't know there's room 😉
Eucalyptus oil is fantastic if you have a headache or sinus congestion. If I have a headache or I’m tired just take a drop, rub it in my hands and lightly breathe it in. Headache gone. Also you can take a bowl with hot (not super hot just so it steams) put a drop of eucalyptus oil, drape a towel over your head. Great for sinus issues.
Love this!❤❤❤your training the kids to be accountable for their laundry as well! I’m 62 and have been the clothes slave for 37 yrs! Getting rid of laundry basket today in my bedroom👍🏻THANK YOU THANK YOU! Your a doll! Pleasant to listen to, and have made you home a priority to be so functional👌
Thank you Dawn for your One hamper rule. We have been consistently doing it for one year and its worked AMAZING. No more dirty clothes in random places. Now the only thing I find is random socks the kids toss when they're hot. But I would add one thing. My old hamper held about 2.5 loads of laundry, and things that hold things WILL hold things. . . So I used a plain white kitchen trash bin (13 gallon) and that's about the load size for out washer. Now I do one load of regular laundry a day and there is NO SPACE in the bin to hold towels, sheets, blankets etc. So I HAVE TO strip the beds and wash them dry them and put them back on. Only get the towels when im going to wash them complete the load and put them back. We each have just one set of sheets and one towel. But it has been a life saver to have a smaller laundry bin.
@@serena.kunstwerk Hi Serena. I really appreciate you sharing that, actually. Have you seen Dawn's Onion Layer video? It's on her channel. The concept really made the video one of the best I've ever seen on minimalism. So, maybe you could sit down with him and do minimalism games with that videos essence. The weirdest parents are the best parents, but that's up to you! Did you become organised and a perfectionist BECAUSE of your Mum or did something else trigger that? I feel like practical mininalism definitely helps with mental health, and then this channel shifts feeling judged to tidy up, and changes it into something positive.
We keep a bottle of pre-treatment in each room where each person gets undressed, so when we are getting undressed, we can spray & pre-treat any spots/stains before it goes in the laundry basket, where it can sit on the garment until laundry time. This eliminates one person having to spend time examining every piece of everyone else's clothes looking for stains. And their socks better not be in a ball, or they are not getting washed! They must open up their own socks!
@@thefarmista I use Oxy Clean spray. I find it works the best on our stains and with our washer. I've never had anything ruined by it sitting on clothes for a few days between washes.
It's nice to see a refresh that doesn't cost $100. I know you guys did a bigger refresh a year ago but its definitely nice to refresh quickly again for form and function.
My kids do their own laundry once they turn 8. Wash, fold, put away. I dont even pay much attention when they do it but they know they have to see it through when they do. The only rule is it has to be a full load. This cuts down on me having to manage that everyone has clean clothes and the best part is no sorting.
You’ve remotivated me to get back to a more minimal home this summer. One year of homeschooling and I’ve realized there’s things we just don’t have time for anymore, and that’s okay. When things are hand wash only I still put it in the machine. 😅 If it looks particularly delicate I’ll put it in one of those mesh wash bags to keep it from getting snagged or ripped. What will be will be. lol.
I use these baskets for all of my kids. They help sort the laundry and then put them away in their bin systems. It's been life changing for me! Thank you!
as to stained shirts etc, check with your local waste collection or county waste collection. We have the option for textile recycling (clothes, linens, fabric scraps) in my county.
Eucalyptus oil for stains? That's a first to hear that! I've only ever hears that Eucalyptus oil is good for breathing when you're feeling stuffy...like peppermint oil. Thanks for trying it out and letting us know! You could cut the shirt sticker and stick it to the clipon label...perhaps? Great video! Thank you so much! Naw! The valence is so cute and it ties in the color of your baskets!
Eucalyptus oil is used in Australia for oil spits, not stains. Plus it is used for clearing stuffy noses by putting a few drops on a tissue then inhaling the vapour.
@@rover790 yes I use it to get rid of the grease out of my son's work clothes, cleans the machine as well, no more grease sticking inside the washing machine, we also add a few drops to a handkerchief to clear stuffy noses :)
Instead of throwing away the eucalyptus oil, pour it around the outside of your garden area. It will help to deter pests and it won't have been wasted! 😊
Eucalyptus oil is amazing in the shower! You can put a few drops at the bottom of the shower and the steam mixed with the oil can really open your sinuses; it's a natural alternative to like Vicks or similar. I would definitely hold on to that if you haven't gotten rid of it already!
I adore eucalyptus oil! I drop a few drops on the floor at the start of every shower. It makes it smell like a spa and it relaxes me. Try it Dawn! It's a "Calgon, take me away moment" for you!😊
I use eucalyptus oil in my kids hair as a nit preventer and for getting off anything sticky. Sticky labels from jars etc. We were also camping and one of my kids told us their head was itchy. They had nits! I uses conditioner and eucalyptus oil to treat his hair. Wrapped his hair in glad wrap. It worked brilliantly.
Eucalyptus oil can be used if allergies are acting up or if you have a cold. One easy way to use it is to put drops of it in the floor of your shower, and as you shower you get the beneficial properties of those vapors. It also just plain smells good, it could be used in your basement, saturate cotton balls and place them here and there in your basement it’ll really freshen up the smell.
Eucalyptus is great for colds. It’s great for getting sticky labels off. Great for getting gum off shoes. Put it in a diffuser to kill germs and deodorising.
I just ordered your book, Dawn. I am excited to get it. I am obsessed with watching your videos. I am decluttering my apartment. Part of it was/is difficult because my husband passed away 6 months ago and I have physical limitations. My grief journey is causing me extra physical issues so this is a slow process. I just have to learn to be patient with myself.
Yes! Please give yourself time and rest. Today marks 14 months since my dear husband died after caring for him for 4 years intensely and 10 years after his first stroke. I have experienced a physical depletion because I haven't taken care of myself . I have decluttered alot and it feels wonderful but take time for you! A broken heart takes alot of energy. 💔
It took me a long time to declutter my hubby's stuff. He died 3 years ago, suddenly. Some sacred stuff (he was a Native American Shaman) is going to a Native American kid's club in his home town. His clothing went to another 5x-wearing guy in my apartment complex whose own t-shirts didn't fit him (I was sick of looking at his gut sticking out). Other stuff went to wheelchair users or veterans I see who need them. I give stuff to those who NEED them. I have fibromyalgia & pain, so it's taken me all 3 years to clean it out. I can live with that, and I have the room to store stuff if I want to. I needed to let my heart heal before letting go of Brien's stuff, or it would have felt like throwing HIM out. God bless you, and good luck! Remember to give yourself grace, you must do this on your own timeline, no one else's.
I love the valance. I look forward to your videos on Tuesdays and Fridays. I remember you had a new video coming out today while I was doing my own laundry. I got all my laundry done and my reward was to watch you! ❤️❤️❤️ I have come along way in my home and you are always cheering me on.
We are getting our cabinets refacing done next week so this weekend every cabinet and drawer is being emptied. An inventory is underway. So excited to finally purge after inheriting too much from family members who've departed this life. Sentimentality is waning and practicality is rising. Thanks for all your great advise and "permisssion" to declutter!
I'm in the same boat, Deborah. It's been hard to figure out what to keep and what to let go of from some inherited things. So many decisions the emotions rush into. Thanks for the practicality reminder. lol
Hi Dawn! Thank you for all you do. A great project for Corbin would be to switch the dryer door so it opens the other way. I did this for a friend and told her I had a surprise for her, but I wouldn’t tell her what it was. She finally figured it out. I’m so excited!
Literally, almost every real life example you shared is my own real life experience. I love seeing myself in you and getting permission to just toss that stuff!! :)
Since I have a "laundry closet" with only 2 small cupboards, instead of a laundry room, I have found that those dehydrated laundry detergent sheets have been a real space saver!
Love these videos...they are like bi weekly affirmations! Last weekend we worked on our creepy hall closet attic access...and in that process of course we had to take all of the contents out. I got rid of three coats and various accessories...felt good. They were all "just in case" items or items that needed work. I decided I was not going to do the work so donated instead. Thanks for updating and going back to systems....it helps.v
When my daughter was maybe a year and a half I finally decided that I wasn't going to keep any clothes that were handwash only. For awhile I felt guilty because we had a bunch of clothes given to us and I felt like I should use them, but eventually I realized I always passed over them because I had 2 kids under 3 and I was never going to make the time to actually handwash anything. It was so freeing!
Great video, Momma Dawn! ha! Just wanted to share one tip, I hang dry our washed clothes until they are just a little damp if not totally dry. When damp, I toss them in the dryer for ten minutes to fluff them up before folding. If totally dry and stiff from air drying, I just wet a towel down and toss it into the dryer with the dry clothes and it completely fluffs them up in ten minutes as well. It truly works. Thanks Dawn, for all you share!!
Thanks, Dawn! Your videos have been so very helpful to me over the years. ❤️ I think I was the first to finish watching this! 😁I have never missed a video since I started watching a couple years ago. Not really learning too many new things at this point, but just enjoy your family and the company. 😋 And I do feel like we’re friends! Hope to see more on your gardening progress. That is an area I need to minimize and have been trying to cut back and simplify. Too many spaces, too many things going on in the yard. Even if that was my one focus, it would be too much!
Dawn you made such a good point - "you can manage your home in the way that works for you. You don't have to listen to what others say - our homes and families are all individual".
Eucalyptus oil is great when you are sick. It's also great to use when washing woollens just a tiny bit in the rinse cycle leaves them smelling wonderful. It's also a great addition to home made cleaners. I use it instead of a spray disinfectant like Glen 20 as it smells much nicer and is less chemicals in your house.
I just subscribed. I've seen a few of your videos a while back but had time this evening to sit and watch some and the first thing I have to say is that you and your family, you are all beautiful people, truly beautiful. And of course I'm sure you know I mean inside and out. You are also positive, healthy people, the kind of people that you (I) would want to associate with and that make you happy to be around. And secondly, you have a gorgeous home. I love it so much. It looks so warm and inviting and cozy. It's the kind of home that makes you want to curl up with a good book and relax or play a game on the floor or have a big Sunday breakfast together. It evokes such beautiful thoughts and just a place to make memories. I know none of that has anything to do with your purpose for the channel but I just wanted to let you know that is my takeaway for this evening. I do think you are right in what you say about so many things, like that silent to-do list. Wow, how true is that?! And also I too believe everyone lives differently and if it makes someone happy to not use bins or to not have a valance in their laundry area, then that's fine. We all are different and we all like different things different ways. And we all function differently. Obviously, what works for one person isn't going to work for everyone. However, I do not think it is ever appropriate to criticize anyone for their opinion or taste, etc. So with that valance, you do you and never listen to anyone about things like that. I probably have blinds that no one would put in their home or a quilt that they would think is not pretty but again, everyone's taste is different. That's why there are so many choices of things like curtains and rugs, etc. Have a fantastic weekend! So glad I got to watch a whole bunch of your videos.
Eucalyptus is great for so many things. Great for getting stickers/labels off things, add a few drops to your tissue box come cold season. We also pop a couple of drops on our pillows when we have a cold. Great in the diffuser and also a few drops in the bottom of the shower. Excellent for cleaning. Not sure what happened with your stain, we have excellent success using eucalyptus for stain removal, not everything works but great for most things.
I had a sweater that was supposed to be hand washed and was about to get rid of it. Instead, I decided to wash on gentle since I had nothing to lose. It worked and I still have the sweater. I also have sweaters that were supposed to be dried flat and I tried putting them in the dryer. That worked out fine too. Just make sure the sweat isn't actual wool!
I LIKE your valance in the laundry room. It has a pretty pattern with pretty colors that match the bins, and the pompoms are cute. I like your creativity.
It's probably too late to tell you but E oil is great for edges of Sox and clothing to repel fleas and other bugs. I love your channel. I'm 62, 3 kids. Am just at the tip of making my home enjoyable. Thankyou for the teaching and motivation!!
Keep your borax and tide near the sink or area you will do small laundry stripping. I strip my whites every time I wash. I strip towels pretty frequently. You can also use dawn dish soap with borax and oxiclean if anyone has a Tide allergy. You might also decant your borax into a wide-mouth jar or canister...the box it comes in is so hard to get the powder out without making a giant mess, then just use an old measuring scoop and keep in the jar with it. Your channel has helped me so much in my own decluttering journey, y'all are so fun to watch and your content is relevant to real-life.
What others like or don't like, outside or your family, is totally irrelevant, As, you said, " it makes my heart happy" and that's all that matters. I'm so glad you don't let that type of comment get you down. You are setting a wonderful example for your children. 👍💝
Great ideas for your laundry room, you got me onto Molly’s Suds, still love it. Your laundry room bins are great, didn’t see listed where you found those. Good job, I plan to work on my laundry room storage! Thank you.
@@tomaszwyszkowski2253 I LOVE this idea!!! My daughter keeps all her clothes in our room anyway. So we already have a family closet. But to have it attached to the laundry room would make things so much simpler on laundry days!! 😊
Love your channel and appreciate your authenticity! Recently started using a multipurpose cleaner found on Clean My Space with Melissa Maker, BioKleen bac-out. Found some mystery stains on two favorite tops when switching out seasonal clothes and this removed the stains completely! Had to spray/wait/dab a few times, but got stains out with no wear to the fabric. Love this stuff as it takes the place of a few different cleaners and cuts down on inventory!!
I use eucalyptus oil for allergic reactions. Saved my life when my throat was closing-it was put under my nose, although I could barely sniff it. My throat opened right up!
I love all of the points you mention. Realizing that my clutter threshold is much less than I originally thought. You have given me the tools and confidence to go further in the decluttering process. My sister just bought your work book and told me she absolutely loved it. I quickly ordered one for myself!! I already know I am going to love it!! You are amazing!! ❤️

@@katiesoderling3596 That's funny, bc when I smell eucalyptus, I CAN'T breathe. ( allergies. ) Our nephew had it in his wedding and I was so choked up when we entered the room!
8:50 you can also put the sticker on the label 11:28 it does help to separate by texture. Lightweight stuff and towels/jeans don't do as well together as they do separately, both for wear and tear *and* how clean they're able to get. I do three groups: whites, lightweight colors/darks, and towels/jeans.
Eucalyptus oil is a nice aromatherapy experience when showering. Just put several drops in the tub or shower stall before you turn on the water to shower.
The oil would have been great to use as an air freshener. Put a few drops on cotton balls and drop them in the bottom of trash cans in the bathrooms or use for head colds by putting oil on cotton balls in a dish by your bedside. Just a thought. You always have the best solutions for things, love your laundry baskets!!

Drip a couple drops on the surfaces or walls of the shower before taking a shower, and it’s like you’re instantly at a spa! It also gently clears out sinuses if that’s an issue, and overall makes us feel great. Or… throw it away works too ☺️ Thanks always for your videos!
Cute hat! And thank you for the permission to be like, "Nope! I'm not the kind of person who works on stains at this point in my life." This week he cleaned out his work shed and this weekend he has suggested that we declutter the whole house and garden sheds.
Thanks for this reminder. I have mild COVID, mostly an uncomfortably stuffy nose and headache. I'm going to get my tea tree oil right now!
Hello Laurie I'm Michael from California how are you doing.....??
@@serena.kunstwerk Oh me too! I know things would sit there FOREVER!
I LOVE the idea of "inventory." It has really helped me on my journey of minimalism. Thank you
Exactly. So helpful for young people too, because you can see it like the inventory of a videogame and THAT metaphor helps you organise.
@@serena.kunstwerk Get more men involved!
Mininininalism. Can't spell! I need to declutter words 😂
I do this, too, and it works really well!
Great idea! Do you have a recommendation for a pre treatment?
@@thefarmista I use Oxy Clean spray. I find it works the best on our stains and with our washer. I've never had anything ruined by it sitting on clothes for a few days between washes.
@@kristinpratt3149 thanks!
I started doing this with my second baby. She spit up a lot. Now she's a very messy eater. So I started keeping pretreatment in the nursery.
"Reduce your inventory" is the wisest advice I've heard so far!
How could anyone not like that cute sunshiney valance? I think it's adorable, and the room looks great.
What will be will be. lol.
Dawn Dish Soap is my go to stain remover. It's removed washed and dried in stains. I've saved many a t-shirt with it.
I do Dawn dish soap combined with LA awesome from the Dollar tree. So far I don't think there's a stain that I have not been able to get out.
Hello Leslie I'm Michael from California how are you doing.....??
I love your laundry room. It's so organized and efficient. I think the curtains are cute 😍
Thank you from Melbourne Australia. Watched this and once kids were asleep I have gone in and cleaned my laundry. Thanks for the ongoing motivation!
I like the laundry room valance. My mom used a shower curtain for our kitchen windows back in the day, nice, bright and cheery 😁❤
I use these baskets for all of my kids. They help sort the laundry and then put them away in their bin systems. It's been life changing for me! Thank you!
Hello Ashley I'm Michael from California how are you doing.....??
as to stained shirts etc, check with your local waste collection or county waste collection.
Naw! The valence is so cute and it ties in the color of your baskets!
stick it to the clip-on label: That's what I was thinking. I think it didn't want to stick to the plastic
Eucalyptus oil is used in Australia for oil spits, not stains. Plus it is used for clearing stuffy noses by putting a few drops on a tissue then inhaling the vapour.
Your curtain makes my heart ❤️ happy too! 😉🤗💐
@@rover790 yes I use it to get rid of the grease out of my son's work clothes, cleans the machine as well, no more grease sticking inside the washing machine, we also add a few drops to a handkerchief to clear stuffy noses :)
Eucalyptus oil is also good for getting adhesive off glass and some other surfaces
Instead of throwing away the eucalyptus oil, pour it around the outside of your garden area. It will help to deter pests and it won't have been wasted! 😊
Hello Teresa I'm Michael from California how are you doing.....??
Eucalyptus oil is lovely in a bubble bath. The scent is amazing
The curtain is universally cute, love it.
Your videos are great, you're always so positive.
So sorry for your loss.
What is the name of her book? Thanks!
Thanks for the practicality reminder. lol
Hello Deborah, I'm Michael from California how are you doing.....??
Who wouldn't like that adorable valance?! You have excellent home style
Dawn, You can see the joy written all over your face with your laundry room and system success.
Hello Beth I'm Michael from California how are you doing.....??
put the oil in your Medicine Bin ... works great for sinus issues put it on the wall while the shower is running its like being IN a diffuser
I love this! I have eucalyptus oil but don’t really use it. Putting it on the shower wall is genius.
Sometimes I put a drop in the toilet bowl after I clean it. Mildly scents the room.
I love follow-up videos that show tell how things are working.
Declutter before anyone gets old and sick. LET me say thank you Dawn!
Stains and sewing I send to my mum! I don't have the time for it and she does (she offered and never a rush to get back). She is a star 🌟
Eucalyptus oil should be in your medicine cabinet. It's great with a few drops on the shower floor with a hot shower to clear the nose.
Ditto ! Been watching Dawn for years ... lonnnnng B4 100K subs. Never miss a vid. I DO feel like we are friends! 😀💖
I love the laundry system you've created. It's so functional. That valance is really cute too!
I think the valance is super cute!
"I don't know where the other curtain rod went!"
..My guess would be you decluttered it!!! 😅😅
Great video, as always! ♡☆
"I can only manage so much" I feel that 🙌🏻
Great content 👍🏼 We use a pure grade eucalyptus oil for diffusing!
Thank you.
I am like you, Dawn. I know I won't do those little follow up things. I have learned from you to let that fantasy go and the items as well.
I’m about to get a real laundry room with an addition we are building. I can’t wait to get things organized and try some of your laundry room ideas.
I would do family walk-in-closet right next to laundry rooom.
@@tomaszwyszkowski2253 I LOVE this idea!!! My daughter keeps all her clothes in our room anyway. So we already have a family closet. But to have it attached to the laundry room would make things so much simpler on laundry days!! 😊
I think the valance is pretty! 🌷🌷🌷
I like your curtain Dawn. It ties in the bins and brings a nice pop of colour.
Thank you for this video.
Interesting. My husband is allergic to the eucalyptus.
@@Julie-rc7wl Me too, it makes my throat feel like it's closing up.

I was eyeing that curtain, wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but the longer I see it the more I like it lol
Hello Denise I'm Michael from California how are you doing.....??
It is very freeing to figure out what works best for YOU and then do it. No need to compare to others, we all have different strengths.
Love the new labels and I think the curtain is cute as well. So glad we are all different and like different things! Different is GOOD 😊
Thank you! Perfect timing for that boost of motivation & confidence. I'm trying to be ruthless about products I use because I just have way too many.
Very functional, tidy and easy to maintain. Love the basket system. Curtain is adorable!
Eucalyptus oil is great when the kids are stuffy. You can use a humidifier or a Vicks plug in with filters. Don't throw it away.
Use one of the Justin Case stickers. Tom is down.
Yes! Came here to say this! I keep one in the shower to breathe in a drop if I’m stuffy and to put a drop in my shampoo and conditioner to help with hair growth. Love eucalyptus!
Keep it! Great for stuffy nose.
I am fairly certain it is too late. Long gone. When Dawn decides to get rid of something, she doesn’t waste time.
@@katiesoderling3596 That's funny, bc when I smell eucalyptus, I CAN'T breathe. ( allergies. ) Our nephew had it in his wedding and I was so choked up when we entered the room!
8:50 you can also put the sticker on the label
11:28 it does help to separate by texture. Lightweight stuff and towels/jeans don't do as well together as they do separately, both for wear and tear *and* how clean they're able to get. I do three groups: whites, lightweight colors/darks, and towels/jeans.
I love that cheery valance at the window!
Beautiful valance. Have what makes your heart happy in your home !
Super cute valance! I lean something from each of your videos. I’m inspired to go home and take another look at my laundry room.
That valance is perfect in your laundry room 😊
People just baffle me, I can’t believe why people feel the need to say they don’t like something. It’s not in their home, it’s not hurting them, and if it makes YOU happy, that’s all that matters!! I always enjoy your videos and always find nuggets of helpful hints👍🏻

Eucalyptus oil is great for removing sticky label glue. It’s an Australian household staple 😊
If your shower has space for a new friend.. we love eucalyptus in the shower!
I'm not the kind of person who works on stains at this point in my life." It's so easy to feel lazy or ridiculous for not wanting to spend time on things that other people in your life think are no big deal, but I need to just ditch that guilt/shame!
