For those wondering about "The Educator" reference...David is referring to Dai Vernon, a grandmaster of sleight of hand magic. Vernon was lovingly known as The Professor. David is a great guy and a very talented magician. Love watching him perform this routine, and the climax is one of the best as it ties in the entire story and makes for a great ending to the story. Well done, David.
Absolutely brilliant. Just when you think you know the routine and have seen (and done it) many times, you get a surprise ending. Did not see that coming!
Congratulations. Thank you so much for the brilliant move and hilarious routine with amazing performance of great oldest classical cups and balls trick. It is amazing, astounding and spellbinding . Really you are so great in performing this kind of classical sleight of hand trick of which you are a master. We all enjoyed it with great enthusiasm. We have no words to say absolutely speechless. God bless you and give maximum strength to entertain all group of people. All the best.
I was like ok This is Regal Gotta be somethign spectacular, looing in all the right places and i still never saw that ending coming, kudos Mr.Regal -Chuck
I don’t know about the best, but it’s definitely got one of the most memorable endings I’ve ever seen the fool me really bad, and I wasn’t expecting at all
Would have been better then the basics, however its somewhat because of you I was able to break the mold of myself and become a magician while also having dreams of working in my local magic shop (: you made me less afraid of getting out there and performing at bars! While Bill Malone and Ed Marlo gave me the practice I needed to get out there! 52 possibilities :D
I am tempted to start Regalism with "Approaching Magic" as my primary gospel. Praise be to the almighty David Regal. And all his people said shazam. :-)
A very charming little presentation, well done sir. The wand spin of course wasn't the "educator". It was the professor, Dai Vernon and again, well done.
Once you watch the cups and ball a few times and see it explained you can tell what is going on. Some are better than others but it is not difficult to follow along
Good version of the cups and balls but I don't like these professional audiences. I recognize a few of them from other magic videos. Especially the goof onstage right, with the mustache.

Absolutely brilliant. Just when you think you know the routine and have seen (and done it) many times, you get a surprise ending. Did not see that coming!
Back when I was studying magic. You are the legend David!
I LOVE THIS ROUTINE
Adjectival genius. Love and Respect.

Dude on left over reacting from the first move! Regal is excellent...no hype needed!!!

Amazing!! Nice ending for this routine.
Excellent Routine Love the end
One of the most beautiful routines I've seen.
This is actually one of the best C and B presentation you will ever see. Compare how good it is with say Vincent's performance
Great work David!
WOW! Doesn't get much better then that. Very entertaining and great thinking with your final loads.
Perfect 🤩
Straight classic version of this routine except for the excellent callback ending and perfect patter!
awesome performance

My absolute favorite Regal routine.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
Beautiful routine. The climax fooled the crap out of this amateur magician. Thanks!
So much perfect
Great routine. Loved that sly offbeat drop of the ball onto the middle cup.
Wow! I know how to do it and it's still wow!
Absolutely the best perfomance of cups and balls I've ever seen
I don’t know about the best, but it’s definitely got one of the most memorable endings I’ve ever seen the fool me really bad, and I wasn’t expecting at all
Hahha, Awesome performance! And even awesome crowd!!!!!! You the man!
Yeah L&L publishing always had an awesome crowd, not the same anymore :(
A very nice version of a classic trick.
very nice very nice
Boy L&L always has those real tough rugged audiances:)
I guess that's what happens when you base your company out of Reno Nevada?
wow. nice version of this trick. 😎
had everything up till the 2nd set of cups
He "chopped" those cups down quite hard after the final loads appeared.
@@MagicTammi Ah, SOMF princess and you are still out there giving clues!
great trick overall
A very cleaver ending indeed, love it.
I'm surprised on the ending that's for sure
That was pretty genius!
That ending I didnt catch it. Thats nuts.
Yo.... I should've done this on America's Got Talent.... I would probably have more than 36 million views on my audition video. lol... great job!

r/humblebrag
Whitninjathemovie nah just a direct brag
That was a routine!
i caught 3/5 of it... but the smaller cups in the bigger cups. WOW!
And the smaller balls under the smaller cups.
Im fishing out my Land L dvd!
Muito bom
siiiiik
I am tempted to start Regalism with "Approaching Magic" as my primary gospel. Praise be to the almighty David Regal. And all his people said shazam. :-)
Don't forget the New Testament, 'Interpreting Magic'.
He certainly "chopped" those cups down quite hard after the red ball final loads appeared lolololo!
Well done. I caught it after a couple of watches but I think you would almost have to be a magician....Super smooth, my hat is off!
David Regal does not get enough credit
Regal was great but the star prize has to go to blue shirt for the best ham acting ever!
This is Micheal Ammar's routine, but with a twist. He even has Micheal Ammar's patter. Nice job!
+vernonclassic On a set of videos where he teaches this routine. It was back in the 90's. On VHS. Classic routine.
Is it the same VHS that is now on DVD?
This is Dai Vernon's routine.
This is a rendition of vernons routine, and he doesn't use ammar's patter.
It's obviously Gazzo's routine. Didn't you see him pull a melon out of his hat? (Hey, it's no less stupid than attributing the routine to Ammar.)
@davidregal oh refering to Dai Vernon? The Proffesor?
Love it
Dai Vernon - The Educator lol
Fantastic sleight of hand 1:50-1:53. 'o.o
That was a different ending...
Katalyzt
You tell me and we'll both know
The "Educator" was just an inside joke.
The finale is very clever David, very clever indeed.
that wes cool i no how to do the cup magic trick i am good at it
3:22... russel crow :D
0:34 - 0:45
mimicry
Haha - the L&L crowd are really, really hard to watch, but Dave's a class act.
A very charming little presentation, well done sir. The wand spin of course wasn't the "educator". It was the professor, Dai Vernon and again, well done.
🙄
The ending got me. I have no idea where that came from, I can replay it over and over again until I do but I'd rather not. Cuz I'm not a douche
Just need a good pair of headphones ;)
Are the people sitting to the side actors? they look WAY too amazed
Real S.S.Adams cups.
A little weird LOL, but still a VERY beautiful Cups and Balls routine nonetheless
i caught the secret
ok
Sleep boy, sleep :) .
1:50 you can see him place the ball on the cup with his right and in plain sight. That's the power of misdirection.
I like how he copies paul daniels
I like how he copies Paul's toupee.
What the hell are you talking about?
Once you watch the cups and ball a few times and see it explained you can tell what is going on. Some are better than others but it is not difficult to follow along
Good version of the cups and balls but I don't like these professional audiences. I recognize a few of them from other magic videos. Especially the goof onstage right, with the mustache.
yeah that´s right. actually these guy appears in the bills malone videos too
The audience for all these magic shows are actors, really bad actors
