Thats not the point of premium specialty coffee. Just like a $5000 bottle of wine isn't going to keep you drunk for a week. Are products at this price necessary? Probably not. But nonetheless, there is a reason it has this high of a value.
Absolutely no comparison. Even if you have never tasted coffee you would smell the geisha straight away. Super tropical fruity wine like smell. They generally taste unbelievable.
I just saw some buzzfeed show where this guy has to guess which is which and he got it right every time. The higher quality coffee really does taste better
I remember drinking at Klatch before it was blew up around the world. Fun fact: it sold their coffee in bags at their cafes as Klatch Coffee, but for some reason originally it was called The Coffee Klatch by people and even the employees. I really loved the Eskimoka. I loved that place because it was in a wooden sort of shack? You can find it in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. I love coffee klatch. Also, the Coffee maker makes the coffee, not always the coffee itself. They also made homemade whipped cream, which is such a good choice.
In 2009 they rebranded from The Coffee Klatch to Klatch Coffee, changing their logo. They use a lot of in-house made ingredients like their syrups and some of their milk choices. Great stuff
Twitch_LtMotto Chicken is cheap amd sonis rice. You can have a bomb meal. Not all of us eat salmon and steak dude. You make 75 last for 2 weeks. Its call "saving" not cheap.
Twitch_LtMotto 😒😒😒Yea but you made it soudn like it was bad. When most peopel don't eat expensive food. 😒😒😒 Im not a drug addict so i wouldn't know how much heroin is so sure you are the winner. 😒😒😒😒
8 oz cup of the same coffee is $18 at my local coffee roaster, he too judges International coffee for sales at auctions and sells it at vastly lower prices than others.
I think the funniest part about this is the coffee can be wicked expensive, purchased for a huge amount, then completely ruined in the roasting process. Then sold for a premium because they paid a lot for it.
Why don’t they roast the beans in Panama thus it would be cheaper to produce and support the local economy? I’m just wondering. Coffee is such an interesting example to demonstrate globalization.
Coffee beans are a fresh commodity and the quality goes down faster over time after it is roasted. Or so I’ve heard. Assuming this is true though, it makes sense for them to choose a roasting location closest to their retail locations
I loved the episode of the Hidden Brain podcast that was about, if people really have the ability to tell or separate taste notes in wine or coffee. Let’s just say most doctors and scientists call bullshit to people who think they have some extraordinary taste
"hm so how much are we gonna charge for this coffee?" "hey, let's just charge the same amount that some rich roasting company paid for it at some fancy auction, that way it should be accessible to everyone!"
Businessmen fooling consumers, and consumers fooling themselves. Drinking beverages at ridiculous prices to keep up appearances for social media likes.
Early u guys are amazing come to Trinidad and review our street food on what we call the cross it has gyros burgers soups u would love it though u won't see this if u ever come I recommend anayahs on the cross 🇹🇹💝😍
Afterall, Just because it's expensive doesn't mean you will like it. Its all about a personal preference.chivet coffee cost $600/kg. But many people dont like it because it look disgusting for some people. Just browse by yourself to see how it mde. Not that i talk its taste bad.
Stories say every bean is massaged since birth with aroma-therapy fecalia scent. It has an exquisite aroma of Taurus- excrementus. It has a magnificent appeal to “gens stupides” and more entrepreneur-veux être- connoisseurs. The barista who serves this amazing treat is refer to as a “analphabète.” So, please I encourage those cafe enema enthusiasts to Sit down with you Apple devices, and type frantically about some social media marketing. Meanwhile enjoying delightfully an amazing cup of this Panamenian Caca di Culo néctar.
Put Supreme logo on it and it'll be a $175 coffee

Thats not the point of premium specialty coffee. Just like a $5000 bottle of wine isn't going to keep you drunk for a week.

Good catch. I kinda got the feeling she had no idea what she was talking about, and that just proved it
I'd love to see they blind taste them and like the taste of the cheaper one
Abdul Soleh you can definitely taste the difference.
There are huge differences, you don't even need skills, just decent taste buds
Absolutely no comparison. Even if you have never tasted coffee you would smell the geisha straight away. Super tropical fruity wine like smell. They generally taste unbelievable.

Twitch_LtMotto Chicken is cheap amd sonis rice. You can have a bomb meal. Not all of us eat salmon and steak dude. You make 75 last for 2 weeks. Its call "saving" not cheap.
J Lei that’s what I meant I didn’t mean it as an insult , heroin is cheaper than food so i think i win here.
Twitch_LtMotto 😒😒😒Yea but you made it soudn like it was bad. When most peopel don't eat expensive food. 😒😒😒 Im not a drug addict so i wouldn't know how much heroin is so sure you are the winner. 😒😒😒😒
J Lei you don’t have to either eat expensive or cheap food you can eat normal priced food.
Wow, but $75 for one cup? I guess better sip slowly.
8 oz cup of the same coffee is $18 at my local coffee roaster, he too judges International coffee for sales at auctions and sells it at vastly lower prices than others.
I'm honestly surprised there aren't more coffees this expensive. A lot wines go for much more than this for a glass. Many fold more expensive
1:02 Might as well snort it
It is how cupping is usually done,
I’ll have 1/75 of a cup of coffee
Kkk 🤣
$3 for a cup of coffee is still too expensive in my country lol
The sipping sound makes me laugh
I bet the cup is more expensive than the actual coffee
Spongebob SquarePants speak that truth better the margin in this stuff is 800%
i know it's sarcasm but those are the same cup with the 3 dollars one.
1:31 That just sounds weird
That’s the way judges check the diference between flavors.
It's the same as GUCCI using Walmart coffee and slapping there logo on it and selling it for 247 dollars
No Walmart coffee
I've had that coffee, and it's just a drink that tastes quite different from regular coffee. It's like a fruit tea that tastes like coffee deep down
Damn. They fill those cups up to the brim
Made in my homeland 🙌🇵🇦
An additional fact, that's the coffee that the Imperial House of Japan takes.
Source?

I think the funniest part about this is the coffee can be wicked expensive, purchased for a huge amount, then completely ruined in the roasting process. Then sold for a premium because they paid a lot for it.
think the cup is more dear then the coffee
Is nobody gonna talk about how that guy sipped his coffee?
Drinking 1 cup makes me eat dust for the rest of the week.
i triggered by his slurp 1:31
Plot twist: they switched the cups when they were testing the coffee
Do they change their spoons as they sample those coffees ? Or double dipping ???
You couldn't give me that coffee.
That calculation is way off. At $803/pound and about 8 Grams of ground coffee for a cup, this would add up to about $12.
This is what people with air pods would buy
Okay idk why but I smelled the coffee through my screen...
Bish what. No way am I gonna pay 75$ no matter how good it is.
Why don’t they roast the beans in Panama thus it would be cheaper to produce and support the local economy? I’m just wondering. Coffee is such an interesting example to demonstrate globalization.
They don't want it to be cheaper to produce or to support the Panamanian economy, they just want to support their own economy
tgbluewolf truth
Coffee beans are a fresh commodity and the quality goes down faster over time after it is roasted. Or so I’ve heard. Assuming this is true though, it makes sense for them to choose a roasting location closest to their retail locations
I’m curious as to how much the actual coffee growers and pickers get.
We are organic coffeee bean´s producers, and we would like export coffee to your country,

Does this remind anyone of that skit from Sesame Street when the shyster tries to con Grover into buying a bottle of air?
Cafe Bustelo still slaps
"hm so how much are we gonna charge for this coffee?"
"hey, let's just charge the same amount that some rich roasting company paid for it at some fancy auction, that way it should be accessible to everyone!"
😂😂😂😂
A little sip will hurt you..

Businessmen fooling consumers, and consumers fooling themselves. Drinking beverages at ridiculous prices to keep up appearances for social media likes.
