I am so close to a 1000 subs and the deal with my wife that if I can get to a 1000 subs I can buy a new wheel. I think that wheel needs to be a SHERMAN or the new Inmotion V12.
In today's video I am exploring a few trails on the Kingsong S18 and I will also be doing a review of the KEIS V501 Heated Vest.

Positives of the Kingsong S18
Awesome design
Wheel size and tyre rolling performance
Adjustable suspension to fit to your riding conditions
Trolley handle that is easy to operate
Good range but not the best
Good speed but not the fastest
Light and agile
Pedals are high from the ground creating excellent clearance
Built in mudguard that really keeps the wheel and suspension area clear
I think its a super fun EUC and a trail destroying machine.
Not so positives of the Kingsong S18
Can be a pain to get the right setting dialed in for the suspension
Its a pain to work on, ask Mario from Speedyfeet
Needs better weather protection, this really goes out to all wheels
I would like the option for a more offroad tyre like the Sherman as standard
More clearance between the tyre and the mudguard. This is more for UK muddy riding.

The vest sounds good, looks nice too. Crazy uk weather lately.
Update on mine, finally getting a new board... it’s been so long, probably forgot how to ride by now :p
haha yes I can think so. But at least you should be up and running soon. Are you going to fit the board yourself or you getting someone to install it for you?
@@Andre-Mostert will do myself. I already have minimally dismantled. (Can get board out with just taking off one side ). It’s not too bad. We couldn’t find the exact issue sadly, but most likely board. Less then 100miles since September... :/ so bad. 😂
Cool, yes when Mario from speedyfeet replaced my board he also mentioned that the whole wheel needs to be stripped to get to the four bolts holding to top cover down. Take photos as you go so you dont end up with a hand full of bolts not knowing where they need to go. Keep me posted and hope its sorted now. Would also be good to check all the parts to see if there is not something else that is worn or damaged that might have caused it.
@@Andre-Mostert I honestly found nothing. We originally thought the back left battery connector shorted (heat marks on battery connector) solder looked a bit close too, but I removed solder, checked with meter, no short. Weird. Something died on charger.
Yeh the screws are kinda obvious where they go luckily :). You can get away without stripping down both sides, there’s a kingsong video showing what to do. It’s gonna be awkward getting the motor cable through.
Good luck with it and I hope that when its all back together that its sort for a long time. So you can get some riding in.
Hey Andre, Since I reside in sunny Florida, this jacket most likely won't be necessary but I do ski in Colorado and would be great. Thanks for the infor. BTW, going to get my wife to subscribe to your channel. Wondering what your next EUC will be... Maybe you wait for the upgraded King Song??? (that is if the rumors are really true). Take care!
Oh man that would be much appreciated. Yes I mainly use the jacket for motorbike riding but also been used by my wife. Its a great tool to have as you just drop the battery in and you have heat. The Keis brand really stared with heated clothing for skiing. So might be worth to check it out for the next winter.
On the new wheel, I would really like to spend some more time on a Sherman. I really enjoyed that ride. I would like to test it on longer trails and see how it feels compare to the S18. As the S18 and the shock does make the ride super smooth. But I also have my eye on that V12. Not had an inmotion wheel.
Weird seeing you riding with no rain, mud or lots of standing water. Just ducky!
haha so true, we have had a few days without rain and thee trails dried out. I can only hope for a good spring and then summer or some trail smashing action. Thanks for watching.
