    Second method
    Take square root both sides, we get x2= 4i,
    Square root again both sides, x = square root of i.2
    Now assume square root of i =a+bi
    Then squaring both sides and equating real and imaginary parts, we get
    a=b= desired answer.

    Very good...
    However, the Rectangular format of displaying a complex number is (a+bi) or (a-bi); NOT (bi+a), (bi-a), as you seem to suggest in your √2(i-1).
    In my opinion, √2(-1±i) should become:
    x = √2(-1+i) or -√2(1-i).
    OR
    x = √2(-1-i) or -√2(1+i)
    Again, I could be wrong👍
    Nonetheless, I could be wrong 👍

    Good morning sir, sir please make a video of this question Mr Benson bought a bag of orange from the fruit market. He gave out 4 to his neighbors, 6 to his children, sold 31 and threw away 7 bad ones. (A) How many oranges were in the bag? (B) if he sold the oranges at #5.00 each, how much did he made from what was sold? (C) How much orange did he gave out and how much did he threw away? (D) What was the total worth of the bag of oranges?

    x=sqrt i×(+-2)

      Checking your solution shows that your solution is incorrect. i = √-1 and i^2 = -1 and i^4 = 1.
