I watch your videos all the time--- in my toilet of course. I'm so glad for smartphones and TH-cam. Back in the days (without internet) I used to read the contents to air freshener cans and the items used to make them.

Yo Yo Yo Happy People Bearz G is in the house. Carrying that cooler meaning he's harvesting some fish for the family. Definitely KastMaster is always the go to lure. But here in the mid-west the price went up on those suckas over$5, shoot I remembered when I first learned about them it was only $1.10 at Walmart. I've used those all over Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, and Home (San Diego). I don’t use anything else no more since like 1993. Fish love them!!!!

What size orvsizes do you recommend for beach fishing (on the shore fishing with rough surf) and what colors/patterns do you recommend as 'catch anything, salt and fresh water'?
Back in the early 90's i used to work at the Sheraton Hotel across the street During March -April i would fish for halibut with plastics and catch some keepers! Fun years

OG is right. I just started building a tackle backpack for surf fishing and the first thing I grabbed at the store was, you guessed it, kastmaster. Ive used them for 30+ years.

Do they work in freshwater i live here in Michigan and I know freshwater fish are finicky, but I am definitely going to try it but now I’m gonna have to wait and listen to the spring. They may not work here in the winter.
Australian company Halco makes the best of this type of lure, called a twisting, they also come in gold plated

half oz upfront with assist hook of your choice and quarter oz attached with swivel trailing. and treble of your choice

I've caught many salmon on this lure in the Seattle area.

What's up Bearz! I had a question for you. I moved down to San Diego last month and I've fished like 6 or 7 times now early in the morning and I've been getting skunked every time. I've hit harbor island, liberty station, Spanish landing, dana landing, and OB, all with drops shots, hook'd up 3/8 oz, and with some lucky craft lures, but I have yet to catch anything. I am a pretty experienced fisherman with fresh water but not so much ocean. Any tips for me?
Saltwater is like freshwater here in SD. Try giving a finesse dropshot a try. Pay attention to the tides. The more current, the better the chance of a bite. Keep trying, switch to smaller baits from 2" - 3" finesse baits.
@@BearzG Sounds good, you recommend any brand or colors for the Finnese baits. I've been using white baits for my dropshot so far, but its been gloomy out so maybe a different color?

Kastmasters cast like a BULLET !
It's the simplest shit that gets it done. It's why a plain white and red spoon will absolutely slay a 10lb pike no issues. Always stand the test of time 👍
