Awesome video! What rod and reel set up do you have? I’m just getting into fishing and have been watching your videos, love the content. I’ve been taking my 4 year old daughter out and she’s all about it too. Thanks!
We are the two from Arizona, my name is Tanner and my little brother is Aiden. We had a great trip, we caught a ton of fish throughout the week and you gave us some good luck before going home because they BIT right after we saw you. Sorry we rolled up on you so hard lol We were hoping to see you one of the days, you were the inspiration for our vacation. Tight lines 😎 Reach out if ever in AZ. We’ll put you guys on to some stuff out here!
Putting the other kid on game and giving him a little hardware was totally cool. That’s what OG’s do for the young troops. 👍🏽😂. Going to be down that way in a couple weeks to get after it . AZ in the house 😎
12:48 you son has the head turn tingle when a bite is about to happen already 😂. It’s like turning down the radio when you’re trying to see when driving for me.
Good morning mada sucka happy Tuesday drinking my Mexican cinnamon coffee enjoying your new video let's go bearz G 💜🎣👍🏼 this video made me tear up I remember fishing with my father rest in peace 🕊️ we were inseparable we were the best fishing buddies we always were chatting them mackerels to bring home to clean and cook
Appreciate the crapper content brother! Local tip for quality Calico from the beach. On negative low tides with slack high tides following, you can go to "garbage"- sunset cliffs lot and travel south from there as far as possible. Once you get to the tides pools and concrete wall, cast whatever you've brought with you into the currents over the ledges. No one believes us until we show the pics! Gulp baits and cut sardines work best. Happy hunting my SD amigos!
HeyHey! Just-quick note, My post below was my first in your channel. I’ve watched more on your channel and really like your commitment to promote having fun fishing. “Big or small catch’em all”. I’ve always focused on having fun fishing & enjoying the outdoors either by yourself, with family & friends and being happy with anything & everything caught, or nothing but good memories of having fun outdoors. I’m the third generation in my family that learned to love fishing from the two before me and my 3 Grandsons & 1 Granddaughter are the fourth generation following our families great traditions of fishing & enjoying the great outdoors. I’ve always said the “The Best Fisherman” is the one having the most fun! I subscribed to your channel today. Keep up the good effort producing your great vids.
Good Vid. Fishing and enjoying the outdoors with with your son builds valuable and timeless memories. Congrats on your Son's great First Catch!! Also, Helping that young fisherman was awesome. Just like my Dad (late) did with me growing up, we spent alot of quality time fishing Fresh and Salt Water. I've fished Harbor Island & Shelter Island (and many other Salt & Fresh Water) with my Sons and now, Grandsons for many years. Spending our time together in the outdoors is priceless that will live on with future generations just like it already has. In the Bay, we like to use anchovie type lures with the incoming tide and we've caught Big Corvina and Legal Barracuda (28") on light tackle. As you know, thrilling and tons of fun.
Right on brother! Loves that spot and hopefully bring my daughter there to catch her first fish too someday. Congratulations to your son and hope to see both of you out there one day!!!!!
You’re a great father bro. Can wait to take my daughter and son fishing one day. They’re just super young right now. Keep it going bro, I love Harbor Island too.
16:09 spreading the stoke with the youth! That’s what’s all about, except when this one kid tried to hustle me on shelter island trying to trade me gear 😂. Can’t hate the game
That's what's up bro, took my son out on Monday to Alamitos, hearing you say, "pay attention" takes me right back lol. We caught around 30 smalls, but definitely a day we'll always remember. Glad to see you out with your not so little dude!..🤙🏼
killer first fish of the year for the little guy. the bay has been tough for me. i go every other day throwing all the same baits and get no bites =( lol
@@BearzG i went again yesterday after watching your video and finally broke my skunk streak! 5 spotties and a large croaker. your videos educate and motivate thanks bro!
Caught a Mac from HI Monday morning, haven’t done that in awhile along with short Hali and spotties. Maybe they’re moving back in finally. That’s not a nasty crusty kastmaster, it’s seasoned! That’s what I caught the Mac on. I love the 2 spots between the park and Tom ham’s Side note the lizard fish are getting massive
I feel like I’ve fished all the wrong spots while I was there, saw a group of guys catching mackerel the little bit of time before I left for the airport
Yooo the batray bite has been kinda hot bro the past three weekends I’ve been soaking cut squid at Harbor Island and 2 outta three trips times I got a ray. Last Saturday I landed a 21.4 pounder so they’re out there man
@@BearzG I used to live near there but mostly caught croakers from the pier. Im not an expert on Corvina, but it did'nt look like pics I saw online is all...and I HAVE caught quite a few Bluefish elsewhere. Was'nt trying to call anything out, just thought it looked like a Bluefish. My bad. Liked the vid, btw.

I'm a new subscriber, I love your vids. I have a question. Is 20lb PowerPro good line for the JigPara Micros/Slims?
Yes, absolutely
Waddup brotha, what clip were you using on your line when you were switching out your lures? Brand and size?
I was using Hookd Bait and Tackle Snaps size small, but Spro makes some good ones.

They're called snaps. Look up lure snaps.

Sure looked like a Bluefish not a Corvina
