@@TechscrewDIY I'm trying to. Yesterday I had separate left/right channels but no mic. Today I ended up mono, still no mic. I got 5 wires all matched up, yesterday I only had 3 connected.
@@TechscrewDIY I'm looking at generic diagrams and I'm sure it's all wired up. I know it isn't a break somewhere else because when I touch the wire I get static from the mic. Nevermind I see how it could be a second break, still don't think it is since the mic wire is the most protected.
Just cut of wire at the point where 1 cable becomes 2 right, after cut you got one wire/cable. Then open headphones and look where each wire connected, you need find out, whick color is for left(+), Right(+), Mic(+) and left, right and mic ground colors. When you find out wiring, just simply solder all these wires to 3.5mm 4 pole jack. After this repair you got working headsets with mic. Only no led ligths, which are powered with usb.
Hi, first of all I wanted to congratulate you on the excellent video you made. What I wanted to know is which are the current terminals and which are the data terminals.

Thank you for your video, it helped me to repair my headset.
my razer is back to work❤
Razer hate this simple trick
@@CharlieToof they certainly lose a lot with this.
But we all need like this, thanks for the video.
My razer is still working today after the repair.
Bro! Thanks a lot for that video, I made it and my Kraken V2 got back to work!!!
does tthis also work when tthe razer kraken cuts off sound?
My Kraken has both usb and 3.5mm, usb is for the lights. It snapped at the point where 1 cable becomes 2 right after a plastic housing.
you can simply repair that, if you dont need lights.

@@TechscrewDIY I've never used the lights, they're designed for a pc and my console controller doesn't have a usb port to power it.

I want to solder a female USB into the headphones would there be any connectivity issues in doing this? I want the cord to be detachable.
no, just use correct wiring
That would be neat. Install a female port at the housing. Install breakaway usb cables could be an option to or to add extra length.
@leviriggs2422 I did it and it works great. It's possible, ignore the creators input.

Great video , but what if i have a volume control remote on my old cable that i wanna replace , what should i do ?
then change cable both sides of remote. There is video guide, how to fix broken cable near to remote control th-cam.com/video/dpYGU55tAJM/w-d-xo.html
HI i want to ask can i use any usb cable to change it ??
yes, but make sure the diameter is not too large, otherwise you won't get inside the headphpne housing.
Can we do the same way, but replace the cable with a micro USB cable?
your mean use micro usb like a donor cable?
Yes, I mean that, as I want to connect the Raspberry Pi Zero to the USB headphone, Is this possible?
And thank you for helping me 🌸✨
